Hi. I've reverted your changes on data lineage. Here's an explanation:

in general, per WP:LEAD the lead of the article is used for a concise summary without introducing new information into the article (as you have done with data lakes, for example)
the information might be appropriate elswhere in the article but you didn't cite reliable sources; it looks more like an essay or original research
finally, you've mislabeled your edit as a minor edit, which is supposed to be only for small uncontroversial changes, certainly not new information or topics; on its own, this isn't a big thing but you should use it sparingly unless you decide to become one of those editors (and we need them) who fixes spelling mistakes and punctuation errors.
