Hi! You have some good ideas on ways to improve the mating systems article. You were supposed to explore a few to make sure that you have a topic with enough references to make a substantial contribution. Keep searching for references and check the talk age on the site for ideas about how to expand. Lethornton (talk) 22:24, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have collected a good amount of information on lenticels (I think). Most of the links to your articles do not work. You need to get them turned into real citations so that the title and author is shown and possible the link to the full article will work from there. Use the citation tool in the visual editing mode. I can see the start of the structure of your improvements. Keep expanding to show more of what information you want to convey from each article.Lethornton (talk) 00:49, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I thought your draft so far is pretty good and you have a nice array of additions to put in your article. What you have written so far is in a scientific tone, but written in a way that someone who isn’t scientist can understand. Both your grammar and spelling are good. You forgot to include links to other articles as you were writing. For example in the first line of the evolution section, “Evidence from the fossil record has shown the first primary mechanism of aeration in early vascular plants to be the stomata”, vascular plants and stomata should be linked to their articles. This should be continued throughout the article. For organization of the article, I like how Evolution is the first section. I think that it would make more sense if Structure and Development was the next section and finally the example of the apples would come last. I think you have a great start to your article, maybe just think a bit about the layout/organization of it. Evkulesza (talk) 16:37, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You are adding some sophisticated information but keeping the tone approachable. Think about whether you information on the apple lenticels should be worked into the section that already has information on fruits. Continue to add links to other wiki pages as suggested above and check your last three references. There is a repetition instead of using the same number so there might be a problem with how that reference went in. It seems like you are ready to start merging your work with the existing page.
