Yes, that's fine :) but remember that changes on there won't have a messages bar, so you'll have to add it to your watchlist if you haven't already.

That's alright :) I like your breakfast analogy there!

I can't tell you too much until you edit the mainspace- the articles. Perhaps you can pick a subject you're interested in- like a tv show, or a band- or maybe something completely different, and edit those pages. There's templates on a lot of pages describing what changes need to be made, like references in an article, or a section of an article- you can start by doing that if you don't want to edit the actual text.

Or, if you're into more behind-the-scenes things, you might look at backlogs, or clearing upvandalism. There's plenty to do- I can offer you tips then.

One of the things you can look at in the meantime however is edit summaries- found in the box right under the edit window. It's a good idea to fill in an edit summary just before you save a page, really briefly outlining the changes you just made so people can see really easily if they're browsing through page histories. For instance, if you look at the history for your talk page, my edit summary for this edit is simply "reply".

By the way, I really like that you copy and paste your reply over here- it makes the conversations readable, which is always good. So thanks :)
