Hi as an experiment to further understand how Wikipedia works and to check whether it really is as well monitored as my daughter says. I tried to sign up and make a silly change to see what happened. I was very pleased to see how it didn't work. I would like to apologise for doing it and hope you understand that I did it as part of an experiment to learn more and expand my understanding of something that I had slight worries about. I realise that I was wrong about my thoughts about Wikipedia and would very much like to involve myself properly. I'm hoping that my experiment hasn't made that impossible. Question about IP address

Can my IP address be removed from the edit history if I (foolishly) didn't create an account when I posted some edits. I'm a little concerned about security. I now have an account. Please be advised that your correction of a Cherbourg link to Cherbourg Harbour on several articles relating to French naval ships is incorrect as the actual reference should have been to Cherbourg Naval Base.
