Notability of Slade Pearce

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Slade Pearce, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mhking 01:27, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Traveler on ABC

[edit]

I advise you to stop meddling with Traveler. The sneak preview is on tonight on ABC. It will be repeated on May 30, 2007. AdamDeanHall 16:08, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"The Knights of Prosperity" are not coming back!!

[edit]

The Knights of Prosperity are gone and they're not coming back!! Get used to it. AdamDeanHall 17:15, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Desperate Housewives" won't be back on ABC until Sunday, June 24th.

[edit]

I regret to inform you that the NBA Finals are on ABC this Sunday, so Desperate Housewives will be back on Sunday, June 24th. All right? AdamDeanHall 17:53, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why didn't you tell me the NBA Finals were over??!!

[edit]

For Pete's sake, why didn't you tell me the 2007 NBA Finals were over??!! If you knew about this, then how come ABC doesn't know? Don't they have any idea what's going on with their schedule? AdamDeanHall 17:31, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. I just logged on to ABC.com just now, and I found out that they did change their schedule after all. Once again, my sincere apologies. AdamDeanHall 17:35, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia it not a TV Guide

[edit]

Your posting of "this week's schedules" for the television networks violates WP:NOT -- Wikipedia is not an electronic program guide of programming. Listing the general schedule is one thing that has been discussed ad infinitum, and the one primary point that has emerged is that listing "this week's schedule" (i.e., exactly what specials and movies air this week), falls outside the pervue of Wikipedia. This is not a TV Guide, and as such, this should not be there. Please do not continue placing that information there. --Mhking 15:03, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Little context in Primetime: Basic Instincts

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Primetime: Basic Instincts, by 17Drew (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Primetime: Basic Instincts is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Primetime: Basic Instincts, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 13:23, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Regal Augusta Exchange Stadium 20 & IMAX, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Regal Augusta Exchange Stadium 20 & IMAX

[edit]

Hey, just to ask; could you look at WP:NOTABILITY in future before creating articles? There are certain rules on what is and is not notable, and i'm afraid a page that doesn't fulfill them is likely to get deleted. Feel free to contact me if you'd like any details or help. An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 10). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 10). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:16, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Voicemail (TV series) for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Voicemail (TV series) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Voicemail (TV series) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. – Broccoli & Coffee (Oh hai) 01:40, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article I-Caught has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Too short-lived to get any media attention

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
