Deprecated charts on "Rude Boy"

[edit]

Hi. I've noticed your series of edits to the Rude Boy (song) article, and by now you've probably noticed that your revisions have been reverted. Please don't think it's some personal vendetta! However you seem to have picked on exactly those music charts which have been deprecated by the Wikipedia community. These are listed for easy reference at WP:BADCHARTS (which is why that link has been part of the edit summaries for your edits' reversions.

It's not really so much of a coincidence; the "Rude Boy" article is rather mature now, and all the good charts (see WP:GOODCHARTS!) have already been added. That leaves you with little to add there, but there are plenty of other music articles on WP, and I hope you'll contribute to them, too. Happy editing! — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 00:04, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Umbrella (song), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. The additons were WP:BADCHARTS, do not add it again. Thank you. TbhotchTalk C. 03:10, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Chart warning

[edit]

I'll be stronger than the other warnings you have received today. I've reviewed all your edits, and I have undone all of them. They included false positions, unsourced charts, charts from extremely dubious sites, charts listed on WP:BADCHARTS, and claims of songs charting on the Pop 100 a year after the Pop 100 ceased to exist. It's hard for me to believe that such a massive addition of bad and false charts could have happened accidentally.

Please review WP:GOODCHARTS and WP:BADCHARTS, and follow them in the future. Any future repeats of tonight's activities will be viewed as vandalism.—Kww(talk) 04:12, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edit to the page Don't Stop the Music (Rihanna song) appears to have added incorrect information and has been reverted or removed. All information in this encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable, published source. If you believe the information that you added was correct, please cite the references or sources or before making the changes, discuss them on the article's talk page. Please use the sandbox for any tests that you wish to make. Do take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Russian Roulette (song), you may be blocked from editing. Once again, I've had to revert nearly every edit you have performed today. You've added false chart positions. You've added charts that are listed at WP:BADCHARTS. You've removed instructional comments without justification. You've removed citations without justification. You must stop editing this way.—Kww(talk) 23:23, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Rude Boy (song), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have told repeatedly not to use charts that have been deprecated, yet you've gone and added United World Chart to "Rude Boy" again. It is clearer and clearer that you don't wish to add constructively. I sincerely hope you stop this behavior before you are blocked. — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 21:29, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for constant violation of chart guidelines. You've received seven warnings from four different editors, and still are inserting charts listed on WP:BADCHARTS. You've used deceptive edit summaries in an effort to disguise your edits, which means that I can't see a good faith explanation. Any admin can lift this block once the editor agrees to comply with WP:Record charts when editing music articles.. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
