We noticed that this contributor has placed external links to Allgold of sevenoaks on a total of 16 pages, mostly relating to gold coins. These links appear to be little more than an advertisement for Allgold of Kent, a company dealing in coins, owned by Clive King, presumably a relation. As such they appear to be inappropriate. As I run a company which is in competition with Allgold, I do not wish edit or delete these links, and would prefer a neutral contributor to look at them. The link on the Krugerrand page has been deleted, as has the Chinese Gold Panda page. Lawrence Chard (talk) 20:17, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Chinese Gold Panda, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.
