April 2012

[edit]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Hailee Steinfeld. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Geraldo Perez (talk) 05:51, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jewish people, Jewish ancestry

[edit]

You are moving wa-a-ay too quickly, and you are making mistakes. This is serious business, especially for living persons. Please do not add Jewish this or Jewish that to an article without reading the article.

You got my attention with a mistaken edit at Mary Gordon (writer), who is CATHOLIC but you put Jewish. I then checked two other articles and you had made incorrect changes to both of them: Anton LaVey and Frank Oz. That's three for three, man. Take a breather and SLOW down.

Again read each article before making any changes to it. Binksternet (talk) 08:15, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Melissa Rosenberg. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Do not say that someone is Jewish if they only have some Jewish ancestry. They are Jewish if they say so, if they profess to be Jewish. This is your only warning; if you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page again, as you did at Adam Rothenberg, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Binksternet (talk) 08:23, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Herbert Ratner, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Binksternet (talk) 08:36, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Ram Dass, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Michael Penn, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please do not make any further modifications to the ethnicity categories of various biographies of living persons without first reading the policy outlined at WP:CATEGRS. Thank you. SuperMarioMan 13:02, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite block

[edit]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for continued violations of BLP policy. You have been warned numerous times and previously blocked for adding categories to biography articles against WP:BLPCAT and WP:EGRS consensus. The block is for an indefinite duration, that is it can be lifted at any time if you will agree to abide by Wikipedia policy regarding the biographies of living persons and not add categories to articles that are not supported by sourced article content and wherein the subject of the article has self-identified with the ethnic/religious category. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
