File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Al waleed.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ZooFari 04:00, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good news and bad news

[edit]

Hi there, thanks for the interest in maintaining the integrity of His Royal Highness's article, accurate and neutral portrayal are fundamentally important.

Bad news first: I blocked this account. By policy, this username operates as a role account. By nature of licensing when you contribute content to Wikipedia, the submission must be by a single individual with a single account. One account cannot identify the individual that submitted text or pictures.

The good news is that this is an opportunity for His Royal Highness as well as other staff members to create their own accounts, either under their real names or by pseudonyms. We encourage a good read over our policies and guidelines to ensure that their contributions will not be removed. We are always willing to assist others in editing, and if there is a private or sensitive correction that needs to be made, you can always email info-en-q@wikimedia.org for a private consultation on how to resolve your issue; or you can visit the help desk. You can also contact me by clicking the "talk" link in my signature once you have created a new account.

Thanks so much for your interest in working toward accuracy and fair representation of subjects on Wikipedia, and apologies for the inconvenience. I think the users of this account will find having their own to be a rewarding experience!

Yours, Keegan (talk) 18:33, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
