[edit]i'm not sure what this warning was for, and i'm not sure on whether it was necessary. regardless, have a groovy day :) JaakobouChalk Talk 00:18, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- That was for his "are you an admin or a busybody" comment directly above. Probably pointless, but I've become a bit of a stickler for handing out warnings when folks step over the line. -- Kesh 00:20, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
LOTAR PAGE
[edit]I am only looking to add what the truth is to the page...it seems that you keep putting names into the page that have nothing to do with the system or the name...why is that??then when i fix it based upon fact..you tell me that i am adding info that is incorrect or promotional...infact it is the history to the current state of the system...i do not understand the issue... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ronin6969 (talk • contribs) 03:22, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Don't post the whole thing here. This is a discussion page, not a workspace. If you want to work on your proposed version, put the text someplace like User:Ronin6969/Sandbox. I can help you out there.
- First, you need to provide citations for what you're claiming in your version. What you posted is completely uncited, which means I can't verify that it's true. Without that, it'll keep getting deleted. Find sources first, and put your cited version into the Sandbox link I made for you, then let me know.
- And if you don't see how "it is felt to be one of the most effective systems" sounds promotional, I don't know how I can help. -- Kesh 04:14, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you kesh
[edit]I will put the info into the sandbox as you requested...I really do need help on this I am not a writer or tech in anyway but I do also want the correct information on what we do out there..I hope you do understand..I thought you ment promo in re to sending someone to my web page or promoting the schools around the country which I am not doing in any way...please your assistance in greatly needed... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ronin6969 (talk • contribs) 04:28, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
PLease respond..and thanks for the help
[edit]I do understand what you are saying but the only verifiable info id being used by my ex partner in the KAPAP article...I wrote in info and the articles and when we split his started using all of them for his new venture. I do not care if I am not mentioned in the Lotar article or m schools etc... but I do care that it is leading people to his information...the only way I even know this was happening was when one of the Secret Service officers in the school let me know what was going on and that they were using the name on your site for their benefit and linking it to their site...I wrote asking for help with this and no one responded so I had to change it myself. I am still just trying to get the proper info up and it has been nothing but a nightmare to protect the usage of the information and name...please look at the info I posted on the sandbox and let me know what can be changed on it so that it posted as an artical...I have picts from the LOTAR school and from training certificates etc...but no other articals are writen on the school...what should I do?? I just dont want the page to be turned into a KAPAP page... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ronin6969 (talk • contribs) 05:45, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Quite frankly, if there are no reliable, third-party articles about the school, the article will likely wind up being deleted, or only existing as it does right now. If we don't have sources we can cite, we can't expand the article. It won't become a KAPAP page, but it appears the two are closely related, so there will probably always be some mention of KAPAP on the page. -- Kesh 15:09, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Genocide denial
[edit]It's easy to say "cut it out". Why don't you help us? Read the discussion on the talk page and provide a third-party opinion. Otherwise don't meddle. --Zmaj 21:11, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have been reading the discussion, and I'll thank you not to castigate me about "meddling." This is Wikipedia: everyone who edits is "meddling," and two people arguing does not make a consensus. I'm still reviewing the sources before putting in my own two cents, but an edit war is never good. So talk it out first. -- Kesh 21:17, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
We have. In fact, I'm sorry I wasted my time discussing the matter with a user who introduces attacks without a shred of a relevant reference and then invents his/her own arbitrary criteria for genocide denial. If that's not original research, I don't know what is. Anyway, I know you're not meddling. I'd just like to see some serious involvement from others, so I hope you'll excuse my aggressiveness. --Zmaj 21:28, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Just remember, if you find yourself getting too angry at other users, it's best to take a break. That's why I leave a Wikibreak tag on my Talk page. Anytime I get too stressed, I just walk away for a week or two. Helps tremendously. -- Kesh 22:00, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Its not original research, Tudjmans theory about Jasenovac fits very well with the description about what genocide denial is. The first sentence of the article reads: "Genocide denial occurs when an otherwise accepted act of genocide is met with attempts to deny the occurrence and minimize the scale or death toll". And thats exactly what he did. Paulcicero 22:27, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- This was not an invitation to bring the debate to my Talk page. Take it to Talk:Genocide denial. -- Kesh 22:34, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry about that,I just don´t know what to do anymore. Paulcicero 22:46, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
removing wiki links
[edit]Why did you remove the link to the starcraft wiki? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stabbatha (talk • contribs) 15:17, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- Please see WP:EL. We generally only link to the most prominent fansites & wikis available. -- Kesh 18:21, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
That is why I included a link to scraftwiki.com. It's been up since the annoucement of Starcraft 2 and is the most complete wiki for the expansion. Is there additional criteria a site needs to meet that I'm not aware of? Stabbatha (talk —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 15:16, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Sidewalk Sam
[edit]1. I don't know what you mean by "local small-print flyer"—The Improper Bostonian has an audited circulation of 85,000 in the metro Boston area; I've not noticed their typefaces to be particularly small. 2. Sayings For Sidewalk Sam is for the dude, not by him—quotations about esthetics, thoery and practice of art techniques, etc. --F.N. Wombat 19:17, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
