Written like advertisement...

Hi There, I just started editting, because I want to make a contribtion. Almost all the suggestions I get to edit, seem to be written like an advertisement. Thats what the comment on top says.

And when I read it, I find nothing that looks remotely written like an advertisment. I have been a journalist for 16 years, I know the difference.

So my questions are:

1. 'This article is written like an advertisement', were is this coming from, who writes this?

2. Is there anyone that agrees with me that 'written like an advertisement' is often not the case. (for whatever reason)

3. Should I continu trying to edit articles for Wikipedia or not?
