Guide on leaving messages for beginners

Hi there, and welcome to my talk page :). If you want to send me a private message, try emailing me. If you need help on how to leave a message, please read the following.

The first step in leaving a message is to provide a subject. This is just like the subject you use in an email. Add your subject to the textbox titled "Subject/headline".
Next type your message in the the large text box directly below the subject textbox.
Are you talking about a certain page (maybe one you wrote)? If so, please let me know the exact title of the page, or I might not be able to find it.
Finally, sign your message by adding the text "~~~~" to the end of it; signing makes it easier for me to find and reply to you. And press Save page.
In general I will reply on your talkpage. When I do, you will get a yellow banner along the top of all Wikipedia pages saying "You have new messages". Click on the "new messages" text to see the message.
