[edit]- You've been edit-warring on English Cocker Spaniel, inserting images without consensus. I have blocked your other account, Kipperkip, but will leave this one unblocked: I am acting on the assumption (of good faith) that maybe you lost the password to the earlier account. Please don't edit against consensus: use the talk page. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 16:56, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- The dog shown on the pictures is very cute, no doubt of that. These picures vere removed only because the composition is very unbalanced and it does not show much of the English Cocker Spaniel dog’s characteristic features. Why I think is not a very good picture is because the composition is kind of dislocated, the picture shows the nose of the two dogs and nothing of the breeds other features. The same Editor who took the picture was the same, who also initiated the change, and that would be lobbying for own work and own picture, even if I do understand the creators feelings for liking their own pictures, it’s not a good enough reason. These pictures are not as good pictures as the ones removed , so it was the reason why we remove them time to time, but they keep coming back. The author is putting them back all the time, we removed them about five times by now. There is a conflict of interest when promoting one’s own pictures. Hafspajen (talk) 21:08, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add inappropriate images to Wikipedia, as you did to English Cocker Spaniel; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. SagaciousPhil - Chat 16:31, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Drmies (talk) 19:31, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at English Cocker Spaniel. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:56, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
