Pinewood derby car modifications
I'm afraid that this article is going to get deleted rather quickly once it gets noticed. The article is an instruction manual or how to and it violates Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. This should be moved to WikiBooks --Gadget850 ( Ed) 10:28, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
I put in the move request
Over here: Pinewood derby car modifications and Wikibooks:Wikibooks:Requests for Import. --Kkmurray 14:55, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Good. It is neat information, but it just isn't encyclopediac. I would hate for it to get lost. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 15:01, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Since you've moved the article, you don't want PROD, you want speedy deletion. Shouldn't be a problem, but that's the way to do it. FrozenPurpleCube 21:30, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
But doesn't the Transwiki speedy delete require a discussion first? I tried speedy delete by author (G7) but someone thought that there were too many non-author edits.--Kkmurray 22:19, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Just posted to Wikipedia:Help desk --Kkmurray 23:03, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
I'd say the {{copy to Wikibooks}} template being unobjected to was enough of a discussion, but A5 is a different criteria. FrozenPurpleCube 23:59, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Help desk said to AfD it, so I will set that up. --Kkmurray 01:51, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Article was WP:SNOWed and is now officially Transwikied. --Kkmurray 03:25, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

You might find the Language of Scouting useful. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 16:45, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Spectroscopy
Hi
I reverted the edits for mass spectrometry because they are nothing to do with spectroscopy. I.e. there is no interaction between the analyte and energy. Just so you know. --Rifleman 82 02:51, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 01:33, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry. I did not know that stubs required proposals. I will revert the edits and request a speedy delete. Thanks for the heads up. --Kkmurray 02:00, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- For (my) future reference: WP:STUBS.--Kkmurray 02:24, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Review of Scientific Instruments
A tag has been placed on Review of Scientific Instruments, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Stormbay 03:23, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the note. I fleshed the article out a bit with links and a cover image. I think that it might be a worthy stub at this point. --Kkmurray 14:01, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Review of Scientific Instruments
I hesitated tagging the article because it looked legit but it was empty at the time. I should have just put a watch on it. Cheers and Happy Editing! --Stormbay 17:04, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Australian Journal of Chemistry cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Australian Journal of Chemistry cover.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:06, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- Forgot to add {{Non-free magazine cover}} - done. --Kkmurray 04:12, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:FEBS Journal cover.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:FEBS Journal cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:31, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- It belongs here: FEBS Journal. Somehow it didn't get linked, but now it is. Thanks. --Kkmurray 22:41, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
