Welcome!

Hello, Kutchkutch, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Ayushmann Khurana, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Eeekster (talk) 03:20, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Ayushmann Khurana requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. AfD nomination of Ashram Chowk

[edit]

An editor has nominated Ashram Chowk, an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ashram Chowk and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you.

Indic titles and names on en.wiki

[edit]

Please stop adding these to the English Wikipedia articles. If it was desirable, they would already be there. There was a discussion in the past about these and it was decided not to have them. I will look for it and post here, but for now, know that this is not really wanted. BollyJeff | talk 00:53, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've got a list of prospective Indic letter articles at User:Vanisaac/test/1, if that is any help to you. Since I've got a co-conspirator on this project now, I may go through and start working on some of these myself. You might also want to get some input or help from User:Kwamikagami who worked on the few Devanagari letter articles like Devanagari ka. VanIsaacWScont 22:01, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Question about THA disambiguation page

[edit]

Hi Kutchkutch, just curious - why did you add Ṭa (Indic) and Ta (Indic) to THA? I admit to knowing nothing about Indic script, but I couldn't find anything in those 2 articles to explain it. Would Tha (Indic) and Ṭha (Indic) be better choices? Thanks Leschnei (talk) 20:28, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to let you know that the previous use of {{Indic glyph}} has been superseded by {{Infobox Indic letter}}, and is being sandboxed for repurposing as a tree diagram of characters by relation. When full conversion of the templates is complete, your user page's display will be significantly changed. VanIsaac, MPLL contWpWS 23:42, 8 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
