Speedy deletion of Loomstate

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Loomstate requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Loomstate, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Loomstate and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AHRtbA== Talk 14:58, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2008

[edit]

The recent edit you made to Loomstate constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. Vishnava talk 15:07, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Loomstate. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Vishnava talk 15:08, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Loomstate. Vishnava talk 15:09, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and by the way, your username does not comply with the username policy so I would recommend you change it before you get blocked for that as well. SpinningSpark 17:48, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What User:Spinningspark is talking about is that Wikipedia’s policy on usenames discourages usernames which are the name of a company. Inasmuch as you have few surviving edits, there would be little point in actually changing your username. Rather you should just create a new account and use that account instead. —teb728 t c 00:11, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why your page gets deleted

[edit]

It is unfortunate that your talk page is full of nasty warnings, but nobody is telling you about the relevant policies and guidelines which all articles must comport with.

The reason that your article on Loomstate keeps getting deleted is that it did not demonstrate the notability of the subject. Not all companies are notable enough to have an article in Wikipedia. Please see our subject specific guidelines for companies and organizations. Articles must also cite to reliable sources which verify their notability and other content.

As Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, articles must be written from a neutral point of view. Text that reads like an advertisement is not acceptable. If, as appears, you are closely associated with the Loomstate, this may be particularly difficult for you, for you have a conflict of interest.

For more information please see our Business' FAQ. Instead of posting with Wikipedia you might consider posing with wikicompany.org, which I understand has more inclusive requirements. —teb728 t c 20:50, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
