Red Wikilinks
[edit]Creating red Wikilinks (what you did before your additions were reverted), is a means of suggesting that a topic - such as a species - is article-worthy. If it is unlikely that an article will be written in the near future, then the Wikilinking is not warranted. David notMD (talk) 21:53, 23 December 2021 (UTC)
- P.S. Experts are often frustrated with Wikipedia because what they know to be true is rejected. Verification is paramount. If a non-expert can provide a relaible-source reference, that is sufficient. The ref does not have to be accessable on line, but it does have to be published, so that a person with library access to that book or scientific journal could confirm.
