Found you at WP:PRV. I think it's about ready for FAC but needs a final good copyedit. Can you help with that? If you need to communicate, the PR page on it or its talk page is fine. Thanks. RlevseTalk 21:29, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the compliment. The colon and extra number is RP cite format. The extra number is the page number for that ref. I like this format as it cuts down on the ref lines in the refs section. Of course, some do and some don't like it. Sandy, FAC dir, says it's a valid fmt and not a legit oppose at FAC. Do you think this is ready for FAC? RlevseTalk 18:09, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
See my talk page too. PR closed. Listed at FAC. RlevseTalk 19:42, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Request for advice or action:

This is the tip of the iceberg on a rapidly growing problem. See HERE and HERE. The longer PAMP and its sister articles sit here, the worse it is going to get, as the darn thing simply does not exist, and more and more off-Wiki sources are including it as if it were real and referring back to Wiki. Help!

Request for assistance sent to User:Girolamo Savonarola, User:Bzuk, User:Erik, User:Limetolime, and User:Nehrams2020

Orphaned non-free media (Image:BatmanMPA.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:BatmanMPA.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:10, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

WikiProject Films coordinator elections - voting now open!

Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 21:10, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Coordinator election

While this is an election, it is not so big as to warrant campaigning, so I'd like to ask - in the spirit of all of the other candidates in this and all previous elections - that you please stop canvassing (which may compromise perceptions of your performance in the election), and also to consolidate any of your supporting materials to your section of the election page for both ease of use, and parity with the other candidates. I've also added a question of my own to your section, which I'd be grateful to hear responded to. Many thanks, Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 20:53, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Please do not send out notices to particular editors canvassing for support. This is strongly frowned upon and may lead to discounting of their votes or your disqualification from election. Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 21:26, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but why do you claim to be the "Top Contributor"? Your only work on that article is the Infobox, "Reeve series" section and "Reception". Wildroot (talk) 18:24, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

AAU reminder notice

A friendly reminder from the Adopt-a-User project =)
Hey there Limetolime! This is a friendly reminder to update your status at Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User/Adoptee's Area/Adopters whenever it is appropriate in order to provide new users with the most up-to-date information on available adopters. Also please note that we will be removing adopters who have not edited in 60 days. If you become active again (and we hope you do!) please feel free to re-add yourself. Cheers!

Warning

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Image:Jurassic park iii.jpg. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -Nard 18:13, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Copyedit

Hi, could you take a look at The Other Woman for its FAC? Tony said that "It's within reach, but needs solid input from copy-editors unfamiliar with the text". The article has undergone a copyedit since he made that comment so I am not sure how much of that still applies, but earlier today, he said that "One thing that could improve this article significantly is the splitting of some of the paragraphs. It looks grey and daunting even at a distance. It's a 15-minute job by a copy-editor." Thanks, –thedemonhog talkedits 00:18, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Hello, Limetolime. You have new messages at Thedemonhog's talk page.

Again, "hi" is not an edit summary

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Ward3001 (talk) 01:13, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Image:Lightning NOAA.jpg

A tag has been placed on Image:Lightning NOAA.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Lightning NOAA.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —Ceran(dream / discover) 22:26, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
