Hello, Lionella, I notice that you are the earliest contributor to the Tether Car article. I have been doing a fair amount of the work on the Slot Car article.

What I have read seems to indicate that internal combustion model racing cars (tether and rail) originated in the late 1930s. Your Tether Car entry says that tethered internal-combustion racing began in the 1920s-1930s, but does not mention a source for the information. Since Slot Car links to Tether Car, I'd like to get these two articles into agreement. I have changed Slot Car from the wording "In the 1930s" to "By the 1930s..." in order to fudge the issue a bit until I hear from you. Do you have any sources that support the existence of tether- or rail- car racing in the Twenties? Or any time prior to about 1937? -- David D.Helber 22:54, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
