Speedy deletion nomination of Seiwa Marine Electronics

A tag has been placed on Seiwa Marine Electronics, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. Contested deletion

I am copying your contested deletion argument from Talk:Seiwa Marine Electronics here to your talk page, because the article talk page will likely be deleted along with the article, and you would miss my response:

This page should not be speedily deleted because... it shows people an alternative to some other pages presented on Wikipedia, talking about other marine equipments as Garmin, Navico, Raymarine, etc. Seiwa Marine Electronics was the first OEM ever to develop marine navigation equipment using marine electronic charts, C-Map in particular, and it is part of the current marine electronic world. The seiwa related link http://www.seiwadirect.com presents information and documentation about current and legacy products, since 1984. If it is allowed to presente other marine players it must be allowed to be presented also Seiwa --Luca Marasti (talk) 13:37, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Claims that Seiwa is the first (to do anything) must be backed up by citations to reliable sources. The link to the company's own website does not constitute a valid source, as the company is obviously expected to praise its own products, not to discuss them in an objective manner. Wikipedia is not a directory where every company gets to have an article simply because their competitors have one. Companies merit inclusion by meeting the relevant criteria for inclusion. Perhaps you didn't understand the warning above. Permit me to reiterate:

You may not remove the speedy deletion tags from an article you have created yourself. This is considered vandalism, and continuing to do it will result in you getting blocked. You have properly contested the deletion on the talk page; it is now up to an administrator to evaluate your argument and the article itself to ascertain whether it meets the criteria for speedy deletion and to delete it or not. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Seiwa Marine Electronics. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. Ah, I understood that I could insert some warning (Adverising for example) to advise users about some current problem. i'm changing the text now folowing both guidelines - I hope - and other example on wikipedia. It is still not clear differences between my page and some others I listed above.

The difference (at least with Garmin) is that those Garmin has been the subject of multiple instances significant coverage in various independent third-party sources. OK, I'm trying on developing the page in the way of Apple Inc. (with, of course, difference in number of contents). I want to include some reference on legacy products with images, more history and other contents.
