Notice

The article Anna Herrmann (actor) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. ––FormalDude talk 09:31, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Guillaume Dubarry moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Guillaume Dubarry, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Setting this category up was pretty pointless - virtually all the contents of the main category are now buried yet another layer deeper in the tree. Please don't do more like this. Segregating paintings from "art" is generally unhelpful, unless in very large categories, and thanks to our compulsive category creators we already far too much of it. Notability is not an issue with any of these paintings by a significant painter. But they need more (or merging to his bio). This one should treat the 5 versions of the same composition as a group (minor rearranging needed). Johnbod (talk) 14:15, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hidden text on Paul Ruff

[edit]

I noticed that a few years ago you introduced a number of hidden text passages to Paul Ruff. Since hidden text often gets forgotten and abandoned, we are working to reduce instances of hidden text to short notes necessary to be perpetually maintained in the wikitext, such as cautions not to use disapproved wording. Eventually, this may become a bot task, in which more extensive hidden passages are automatically removed from the article to the talk page for discussion. Do you intend to address the hidden passages of text currently in the article? BD2412 T 22:20, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The article San Francesco Altarpiece has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG, requires significant coverage in multiple independent secondary sources

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Date ranges: en dash

[edit]

Hi. Dates should be separated by an en dash, not a hyphen: 1912–1976. I fixed the title of your article about the London Museum, but if you have added the new name to other article, please correct the hyphen to an en dash. -- Ssilvers (talk) 20:07, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, The Return of the Prodigal Son (Guercino), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 16:58, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
