[edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Castleconnell. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Ian Goggin (talk) 15:11, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Greetings. I suggest you use some of the resources above to make future contributions to wikipedia. For instance, articles on style might tell you that there is no need to address people on their talk page as in a letter. Though I have to admit that I wish it was. However, external links of this kind cannot be used in articles. In this particular case I was merely using the promotion aspectas the most obvious reason for removing the link (by which I mean promotion of the video, not promotion of a commercial venture). There are also other reasons. I hold no position in wikipedia, other than as an editor like yourself. Happy editing. Ian Goggin (talk) 10:06, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
