I undid your Jamie Redfern edit for several reasons.

The first and most simple is: you put it under the external links subheading instead of in the main body of the article. Easily done :)

The second is that the information you added has no citations, or links to external sources verifying the accuracy of the information you added to the article.

The third and I think most important reason falls under the Writing Style guideline of the Biographies of Living Persons policy. You can read the policy here but in a nutshell the policy requires article to take a neutral point of view rather than a pro- or anti- tone. Jamie Redfern may be deserving of the very highest praise for his many accomplishments, but Wikipedia strives for the tone of an encyclopedia and states things as plain facts. Phrases like "one of Australia's finest...", "now regarded as a living legend, the many accolades Jamie has achieved in his wonderful career speak for themselves and listed below are only a few", "The amazing title of Australia's Mr Showbusiness" are highly complimentary and not neutral.
I hope the link to the Biographies of Living Persons policy helps you reformat the information into an encyclopaedic format to improve the article because it really does need someone who knows what they are talking about to fill it out and make it more informative.
