Hi, I noticed your change to Didier Ilunga Mbenga. Citizenship-wise he can’t be both since the Congo doesn’t allow dual citizenship, but the sentence doesn’t seem to be about nationality nor citizenship. --moyogo 16:31, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Johannesburg-stub/Gauteng-geo-stub

[edit]

Looks like a sensible idea to me, looking at the contents. Alai 00:06, 2 June 2007 (UTC) [reply]

The Sauce Music

[edit]

Hi. I've nominated The Sauce Music for deletion, an article you have helped create. I can't find anything about the band on the web. I suspect it's a very local, small band not warranting an article. Please prove me wrong!Hjorten 14:42, 5 June 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Mauritius

[edit]

Hi Thomas - you wrote: How come {{Mauritius-geo-stub}} should be included in Southern Africa grouping? It is not listed anywhere on Category:Southern Africa geography stubs and is only "reckoned" to be included in Southern Africa.

It is mentioned at Category:South Africa geography stubs - it states "Geographical stubs relating to the Indian Ocean islands of Mauritius, Mayotte, and Réunion may also be assigned to this category." Sorry if I got annoyed at the move, but consider that I tally stubs by hand. I'd just individually marked the 45 new stubs in the East Africa geo category, opened each one individually and discovered it was one that was already noted down elsewhere. I've no objction to any formal move to switch things over, as long as it is a formal move and done across the board with all of the countries that would need to be shifted - and as long as I know about it and can spend the time to alter all my tallying files accordingly. Justr shifting one over that has long been listed as part of Southern Africa is a bit arbitrary and did cause me quite a bit of extra work. Mind you, with any luck it will be academic before long - the five African region geo-stub types are virtually all split by separate country now... we're not far off the stage of being able to get rid of them as an unnecessary extra layer of categorisation. Grutness...wha? 02:06, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

S'alright, and I can understand why you did it. As for the Sierra Leone problem, there seems to be quite a big server lag today, so that's probably the reason for it. I can't see anything else wrong. Grutness...wha? 02:45, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Olympic handball players of Brazil

[edit]

Hey! You have placed a tag on this category for speedy deletion. I try to prepare all this categories for the 2008 Summer Olympics. Brazil competed in the men's and women's tournament at the last Games so I thought we will need this category. Thank you and :) Doma-w 23:39, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your quick answer. Yes, I know it is a little bit "early", but we will need many new categories and it is much quicker and easier for me to create a couple of them in a row. And creating categories isn't the funiest. :) I also started categories like this: Category:Judoka at the 2008 Summer Olympics. And they had to be empty until the Games. For the other I will find entries. But I respect your work, this is also very necessary. Keep up and :) Doma-w 00:01, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

Due to User:A Jalil edit, I have not reverted your changes to this template, which are not explained in the talk page:

  1. you removed a sovereign state, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, quoted in both Wikipedia articles list of countries and list of sovereign states
  2. you persisted in expressing what I call a “dirty link”: Western Sahara (SADR)

A dirty link is that Wikipedia functionality which people has twisted in order to send a message to readers.

Example of a dirty link: Monkeys' Country. --Juiced lemon 01:29, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think this article should be deleted. You make the argument that Flynn has yet to play a college level game, but players that are of similar high school ability -- namely Kevin Love and Michael Beasley -- have not been tagged for deletion. All of these players are high school McDonalds All Americans and are the very best high school basketball players in the country. Furthermore, even at such a young age, Flynn is already being considered for the NBA. Please let me know what you think. Thanks. Chengwes 02:32, 11 June 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Islam in Kosovo

[edit]

I had to revert your cleanup, as you did it after on of the most obnoxious vandals of Wikipedia edited the article- for a history of his vandalism look here. --noclador 00:33, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You work to make it better :) I'm specializing in military topics and European Armies- the only reason I came to Islam in Kosovo is, that I was cleaning up behind user:Gon4z. I'll keep an eye on his edits, but otherwise not contribute to the article, cheers --noclador 00:51, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please re-read the deletion page for Jeremy McNeil. Although you say it has been up for deletion at an earlier time, this was for a completely different Jeremy McNeil. Judging from that page, that Jeremy McNeil was a fictional character in a story, not the college basketball player and current D-League player. Thanks. Chengwes 15:39, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about removing the CSD templates without explaining why for McCroskey and Gorman. However, the CSD template for McNeil was removed by somebody else. Thanks. Chengwes 16:17, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kudos

[edit]

Kudos for creating {{Namibia-cricket-bio-stub}} and putting all the articles into the category. Bobo. 11:54, 17 June 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Walk-ons

[edit]

What are your thoughts on walk-ons in college basketball being put into Wikipedia? I've only added the Syracuse scholarship players, but recently, someone added Jake Presutti to the roster. He's a walk-on that's appeared in only three games in garbage time. Do you think it should be nominated for deletion? I'm thinking it should be. Chengwes 08:08, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
