Misc
[edit]Thank you for clean up vandalism on the Dale Earnhardt page. I noticed that you missed some, so I finished it off. The easiest way is to look at the history on the page (on the history tab on the top), then click undo to get rid of the vandalism. After you get a lot more experience, you will hopefully show that your trustworthy enough to use the rollback feature to get rid of obvious vandalism like this. I notice that you were trying to nominate yourself for admin or something like that. Take it from someone who did succeed, you have to be a well-rounded person like at least months (or years) of experience plus many thousands of edits (probably at least 5000 minimum). So don't expect anything to happen soon. If your goal is adminship, you'll have to earn it. Believe me, there's a lot to learn! I don't know everything and I'm a veteran admin. Let me know if you have any questions - I'll do my best to answer them. Please consider joining me at WikiProject NASCAR. Keep up the good work and work on using reliable sources like is indicated above. Royalbroil 01:41, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Using fair-use images
[edit]Hello Nascarfans. I recently removed nine images from your userpage because they're non-free images, meaning they're copyrighted. Copyrighted images, also known as "non-free" or "fair-use" images, can only be used in articles, not userpages, talk pages, etc. For more information, see Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria. Test edit
[edit]Thany you for your edit to Talk:McDonnell Douglas MD-80, I have reverted it as the article has already an aviation project header and also note the article has images. MilborneOne (talk) 22:08, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
FAC removal
[edit]I appreciate that you are acting in good faith, but it is best if featured articles are nominated by people who have worked closely on them. In this way, they can give reasoned replies to reviewers and be familiar enough with the sources to act on suggested improvements. Someone who has not worked on the article can not provide this input, so the nomination may continue until opposition to it becomes so overwhelming that the article is failed; this takes away time from reviewers. While the Xbox 360 article is of reasonable quality, it is not yet of featured quality, and principal contributors must be consulted before a nomination, as required in the featured article candidate instructions. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 03:39, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edit to Wikipedia:Requests for adminship has been reverted[1] because you have attempted to transclude a non-existent RFA subpage. If you want to nominate yourself for adminship, you need to follow the instructions at WP:RFA and particularly at WP:RFA/NOM carefully. However, I recommend that you wait at least another 4-6 months before applying for adminship. If you nominate yourself now, you will have no chance of approval. Generally, at least 5-6 months of active editing is expected before an RFA request has a reasonable chance for approval. You have been a WP editor for less than 2 months and a large portion of your edits were to your userpage. I also noticed that you gave yourself a barnstar. I should tell you that awarding yourself a barnstar is considered inappropriate (a barnstar may be awarded to a WP editor by another editor but not self-awarded), see WP:BARNSTARS. MOTD
[edit]While the Motto of the Day is open to everyone to contribute to, the motto you submitted had nothing to do with Wikipedia and the arrow link was wrong. The motto should, and must, be wikilinked unless its content has direct reference to Wikipedia. For example, if Joe Bloggs said 'If you've got something to say, say it!', then you may want to link the quote to WP:BOLD. As for the arrow link, you should link it to the article about Joe Bloggs. Hey there Nascarfans, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free files are not allowed in the user or talk-space. I removed some images that I found on User:Nascarfans. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use images to your user-space drafts or your talk page. See a log of images removed today here, shutoff the bot here and report errors here. Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 04:34, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

Help
[edit]{{helpme}} If you get blocked from editing will you be able to edit your own userpage?
- Yes. The only page you would be able to edit is this page, and even that privilege can be taken away if it is abused. Xenon54 / talk / 16:59, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- Promote the project
- Join this project! Add yourself to the list, and add the userbox to your page, to advertise the project to people who happen to pass by.
- Invite people to the project – drop a note on the user talk page of editors working on iPhone OS topics who aren't project members.
- Consider promoting the project via the Wikipedia Signpost WikiProject desk.
- Improve the project
- Update the project pages, archive clutter, and make use of the latest automation available
- Consult the WikiProject Guide for ideas
- Come up with new ones
- Use the project
- Create a new article. Or check out Wikipedia:WikiProject iPhone OS#Todo and see if these new articles need work such as project tagging or categorising.
- Expand some of the articles (check out Category:Stub-Class iPhone OS articles or some of its subcategories), always respecting Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View Policy. Also, check the Wikipedia: Manual of Style.
- Add references to articles which need referencing improving. Biographies of living persons are a particular priority.
- Assess some of the Unassessed iPhone OS articles, using the criteria at Wikipedia:WikiProject iPhone OS#Assessment. Update the project banner on the relevant talk page.

Amusement Park WikiProject
[edit]Hello Nascarfans. Recently, the Amusement Parks WikiProject was reformatted and revived. As part of this process other related WikiProjects (such as Disneyland, Herschend Family Entertainment, Universal Parks & Resorts and Walt Disney World) were also revived and have now become part of the Amusement Park WikiProject as task forces. If you would like to remain listed as a member on these WikiProjects please re-add your name to the appropriate lists at the participants page. All names currently on the list have been cleared. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Thank you for your cooperation, Themeparkgc Talk 08:24, 6 November 2010 (UTC).
Your refund request
[edit]Hello, I've reverted your request at WP:REFUND [2], because it was malformed, without reasoning and there is of course a page on Nascar and even a portal. Nintendo task force membership update
[edit]It's that time again to update membership status with the Nintendo task force, which we periodically do to keep our membership up-to-date.
All participants have been placed on an "Inactive participants" list. To confirm that you're still a member of the Nintendo task force, simply go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Nintendo#Members and move your name from the "Inactive participants" list to the bottom of the "Active participants" list. If you are no longer an active member in the task force, you may simply remove your name altogether. On 23 December, all entries under the "Inactive participants" list will be removed. Hopefully you can stay with us and continue to work on Nintendo-related articles. Regards, MuZemike delivered by MuZebot 17:24, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

MOTDs (This space for rent)
[edit]You may have noticed over the past few days that the MOTD that you link to on your user page has simply displayed a red link. This is due to the fact that not enough people are reviewing pending MOTDs here. Please help us keep the MOTD template alive and simply go and review a few of the MOTDs in the list. That way we can have a real MOTD in the future rather than re-using (This space for rent). Any help would be appreciated! ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 14:09, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject Amusement Parks Article Clean-Up
[edit]Recently, an issue has been brought up regarding the notability of many articles within WikiProject Amusement Parks. As a result, a page has been created regarding this issue as well as a possible solution (which will be on-going). In a nut-shell, certain articles will be picked to be reviewed in each stage and the WikiProject members (you) will decide if the article should be deleted or kept based on Wikipedia's notability guidelines.
I hoping this will work and if it doesn't, oh well...I tried.
