Things you probably never read on Oren's talk page in the first place

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ThinkUp requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. BelovedFreak 13:22, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for deleting my new article before I could even get started. Thanks for wasting an hour of my time. I was trying to get permission yo use the thinkup logo and content from thier web sites but now I don't have to bother. Well done you have denied Wikipedia the opportunity to have an article on a new class of software! OrenBochman (talk) 06:33, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A friendly advise.

[edit]

In future, if you're working on an article that isn't complete yet, try creating a subpage of your userpage and creating the article there first. How to do so is explained here. Then, once you've completed the article to an acceptable standard, you can create the article properly and copy everything from the subpage to the main article. That way, you're less likely to leave half-finished articles lying around and getting deleted. Happy editing! Yasht101 14:17, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the friendly advice - but a cursory examination of my user page would reveal that this is how I now work. OrenBochman (talk) 17:46, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
1 More thing:
There is a programme on wikipedia, Adopt-a-user. Here, u can select any one who can help u out on wikipedia. U just have to leave a message on their talk page asking adoption and the user will help and guide u in becomming a better editor. Even i adopt users. I can help u out in wikipedia. If you'd like, I'll b happy to adopt u. Take a look at my contribution history to get an idea of the sort of areas I normally operate in; if you think I'd be able to help you, drop me a line on my talkpage.
You're under no obligation to accept; if you don't think I'd be the right adopter for you u can go for someone else. Awaiting your reply.

Hi!

[edit]

Hi OrenBochman,

I just got over from my exams and now i have 94 days long vacation with no work so most of my time will be wasted on wikipedia.

As, now i m available, if there is any kind of help that i can do for u, then please tell me or if any questions then leave me a talk message. I'd be happy to help u! Yasht101 04:22, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad to hear you have started your vacation. Yesteray I also took a hungarian exam. I could use some help with my recently rejected artcle http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:OrenBochman/Glam/Dvora_Bochman the editor did not point at specific problems. I think the article is well sourced and I've tried to improve the style. Have a look and let me know what could be the matter so I can finish it. OrenBochman (talk) 12:58, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The article does have many issues. Anyhow, now i m editing it and probably will make it perfect by tomorrow. Then you can just go and create the article. I dont think that u need to go for article for creation. Just type the heading of the page in wikipedia search bar and create the article by copying and pasting material in the thing that u ceated like u did in ThinkUp. It will be much easier to get through.
But do it after two days, as currently i m trying to make it neutral for wikipedia. Yasht101 13:07, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'll be watching to see what you are doing - I'm not sure what the problems are. I have another gallery to upload to the stamp section but I have to the correct licensing for each. Are stamps images in the public domain ?? OrenBochman (talk) 08:37, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Completed work finally!!!

[edit]

Have a look at it now: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Dvora_Bochman
Now, it is neutral and not like a essay.
Theres no need for AFC. Only thing for u now is to create the article by simply copying and pasting in this: Dvora Bochman Yasht101 04:29, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - I was wondering if it is ok for me to move to mainspace so the full history will be available. OrenBochman (talk) 09:44, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If u copy to mainspace. The full history will not be found. But ur edits will not be deleted either. If u directly copy to mainspace, only ur edits will not apper in the article. But ur edits will still remain in ur userspace and in AFC. But, its okay i think to directly copy to mainspace cuz it is not affecting edit counts and it'll be much more easy.
I see that u have moved it. I dont think that i told u to move it. I told u to copy the raw material and paste it. It is not proper to move a AFC page to mainspace. Its wrong. Ur move can create problems. Yasht101 10:33, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for moving ahead - but what kind of problems ? I'f it is serious - You can revert the last two edits I guess (I did not want to leave it in AfC indefinitly - since it is so crowded there with a large backlog OrenBochman (talk) 10:39, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please be online for 10 more minutes. I m fixing it. Yasht101 10:42, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Content analysis presentation

[edit]

Couple comments. First, if it can be used to detect/confirm sock puppets, that would be GREAT!! Second, there are topics that are verboten, or poorly covered, or censored by mainstream media: new human rights abusing laws in the US; crimes against African Americans vs. crimes vs. whites; govt busts under bad laws; human rights abuses in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Israel; etc. In these categories sometimes the only WP:RS on them are non-mainstream political publications and websites, English versions of foreign language publications, etc. where there can be debate on WP:RS, depending on author, etc. Content analysis should not be constructed in such a way to make it look like such sources are defacto NON-WP:RS. CarolMooreDC 14:38, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I can make a state of the art tool to confirm sock puppets. It would be able to do a virtual line up of N users and point out the most likely culprit. It may or may not be good for detection too, that would need testing.

Regarding relaiblity - it is a very hard problem. It is also possible to place ranks against external sources using a number of rules. However, to do so in a "community compatible" way I would have to ask a task force to rank several sources using a code book. (Each item would need to be ranked independently, but the outcome would only be usefull if the indeviduals are close to consensus) This would be good for most situations.

For the debates you mention above these are the hot spots where a independent evaluator would be most usefull. I'd need to study this more deeply before considering these hot-spots. Is there a body of knowledge (tables/talk pages/etc...) listing sources and if they are considered Realiable Source on/off wikipdia? OrenBochman (talk) 15:29, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there is a table of what is and isn't WP:RS. Some clearly are, some clearly aren't, and then there's the middle where it depends on who wrote it, what the source is, what other refs available are, who's editing the article, etc. But if there isn't such a list of what IS WP:RS, then I guess there isn't a worry about the middle ground getting knocked off the list :-) CarolMooreDC 18:12, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I need your assistance in developing and spreading a wikiproject. Can you help me in developing and spreading this page in wikipedia: Wikipedia:Wikipedia for World Heritage

Thank you and Happy editing! Yasht101 :) 06:55, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've heard about this - I was told that it is a publicity stunt. Isn't world heritage for places that need funding and to help preserve them from say demolition to build new apartments? Let me know if you have heard otherwise! OrenBochman (talk) 07:00, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is a new idea. This year WIKIPEDIA celebrated its 10th anniversary – a great occasion to honor what a lot of people achieved together and to ensure the continued existence of WIKIPEDIA as a platform of free knowledge.
This achievement made WIKIPEDIA a pioneer of cultural change because WIKIPEDIA transferred the tradition of knowledge exchange into the new, digital age. Thus creating a unique place of knowledge exchange in the history of civilization.
This is why as a cross-border cultural achievement, WIKIPEDIA deserves recognition and protection as UNESCO’s first digital World Cultural Heritage Site.
You have to sign the petetion and add your name in the project list. This is a new idea to bring change and to lead in the digital world of 21st Century! Yasht101 :) 07:03, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Linguistics tagging

[edit]

Thank you very much for this edit! It's nice to have someone help with the WP Linguistics rating. I have a request for you - when you rate an article, can you also remove the |auto=Inherit parameter? Otherwise it looks like it has been rated by a bot. Again, thanks for your help, and let me know if you have any questions. Best — Mr. Stradivarius 12:15, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback, no matter how much you know there is always more to editing wikipedia. I can probably rate most linquistics articles up to C. I am not well enough aquainted with the manual of style to rate articles B or higher. I see there are lots of unrated articles, perhaps I can put a dent in that number. OrenBochman (talk) 13:50, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you can, that would be great. Don't be scared about rating articles as B, either. At the moment what we need is a rough judgement of how good an article is. It doesn't matter if an article fails a minor point in the manual of style - if it covers most general areas of the topic in question, uses mostly good prose, and is sourced to reliable sources in all the important places, then you should give it a B. Also, we had a bot tag lots of WikiProject Linguistics pages a while back, and I know for certain that some articles were tagged erroneously. If you find articles that really don't belong in WP Linguistics, then feel free to remove the project banner altogether. I think you made a good decision at Harold Innis, as I initially misread communication theory as being a part of linguistics, when in actuality it is mostly linked to mathematics. If I do anything else that is probably wrong, then feel free to correct me - I might have made a lot of edits here, but you shouldn't forget that I am just a language teacher. :) — Mr. Stradivarius 18:36, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your HighBeam account is ready!

[edit]

Good news! You now have access to 80 million articles in 6500 publications through HighBeam Research. Here's what you need to know:

  • Your account activation code has been emailed to your Wikipedia email address.
    • Only 407 of 444 codes were successfully delivered; most failed because email was simply not set up (You can set it in Special:Preferences).
    • If you did not receive a code but were on the approved list, add your name to this section and we'll try again.
  • The 1-year, free period begins when you enter the code.
  • To activate your account: 1) Go to http://www.highbeam.com/prof1; 2) You’ll see the first page of a two-page registration. 3) Put in an email address and set up a password. (Use a different email address if you signed up for a free trial previously); 4) Click “Continue” to reach the second page of registration; 5) Input your basic information; 6) Input the activation code; 7) Click “Finish”. Note that the activation codes are one-time use only and are case-sensitive.
  • If you need assistance, email "help at highbeam dot com", and include "HighBeam/Wikipedia" in the subject line. Or go to WP:HighBeam/Support, or ask User:Ocaasi. Please, per HighBeam's request, do not call the toll-free number for assistance with registration.
  • A quick reminder about using the account: 1) try it out; 2) provide original citation information, in addition to linking to a HighBeam article; 3) avoid bare links to non-free HighBeam pages; 4) note "(subscription required)" in the citation, where appropriate
  • HighBeam would love to hear feedback at WP:HighBeam/Experiences
  • Show off your HighBeam access by placing {{User:Ocaasi/highbeam_userbox}} on your userpage
  • When the 1-year period is up, check applications page to see if renewal is possible. We hope it will be.

Thanks for helping make Wikipedia better. Enjoy your research! Cheers, Ocaasi t | c 20:55, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your RfA

[edit]

I'll prepare the final run of adoption programme in 3 days.

And If you really wish to become an admin, it'll take an year for anyone to get ready. Also, if you go early within an year of activity on wiki, then it'll fail as you won't get support. I'd like to advise that start voting and commenting in WP:RFAs and you'll learn it yourself that what it takes to be an admin.

When you finish your year on wiki and till then I m sure that you'll have complete knowledge, I'll nominate you for RfA :)

Also, Please see this to get an idea that what you need to be an admin: User:Yasht101/RfA Yasht101 07:28, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the pointers. I am not in a great hurry, but I am getting strated already:

  • I've seen there is an optional coaching program before an RfA.
  • I've been participating in Afd.
  • I've helped out with some projects - ranking and improving articles.
  • Can I participate in RfA nominations before becoming an Admin ? BO; talk 02:28, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ofcourse! Why not in fact? You are free to vote or comment in RfA. But always be polite there as the atmosphere is 10 times tense there compared to AfDs. It is the best way to gain experience and learn that how much you should be developed to become an admin. Currently there are 2 RfA nominations. You can start off by voting and commenting at few places if you wish to.
I'd also suggest you to add this to your talk or user page: {{Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard/RfA Report|style="float:right: clear:left;"}}
It will help you to keep a track of whoever is running for adminship. It's output will be:
Requests for adminship and bureaucratship update
RfA candidate S O N S % Status Ending (UTC) Time left Dups? Report
Sennecaster 175 0 0 100 Open 17:20, 25 December 2024 4 days, 4 hours no report
Hog Farm 175 14 12 93 Open 02:47, 22 December 2024 13 hours no report
You have the potential to become an admin. You learn really fast! You are better then me in that. You'll be an wondeful admin one day :) Thanks Yasht101 03:54, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption

[edit]

Hello OrenBochman! I see that your adopter, User:Yasht101, has retired, and that is terrible, but no worries! He has asked me to take over and I am willing to be your new adopter! I'll be happy to adopt you because I enjoy working with others – especially to help them become a better editor on Wikipedia!

Take a look at my edit history; I usually work at Articles for Deletion, Articles for Creation, in new page patrolling, and in vandalism-fighting. I have been an editor on Wikipedia for a year, and have made over 15,000 edits to the encyclopedia.

I'm usually available on Wikipedia from 0:00 - 5:00 and occasionally from 12:00-16:00 (all times UTC). I travel frequently, usually on business trips around the world. I'm so young, yet so busy.

If I adopt you, I promise I will provide you with the most friendly, easy, and convenient adoption service through my adoption school. But if you don't think I am the right adopter for you, that's okay – you have no obligation to accept, and I won't be in the least bit offended if you don't. If you think I am the right adopter for you, please let me know – then we shall get started! →Bmusician 01:56, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Until the return of my most repected previous mentor User:Yasht101 I would be please to be adopted got mentoring. Though I was begining the graduation process I would like to benefit from your exretise and support. I must disclose that I am also participating in this request to help me learn more about mentoring so I will be able to create a virtual coach for future users. [1]. Also I am preparing to submit an RfA in the near future and would be glad to have any help on that as well.

If it makes sense - please adopt me! BO; talk 17:11, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Bmusician's adoption school!

[edit]

Welcome!

You are now a student at my adoption school. Your official adoption page is located at User:Bmusician/Adoption/OrenBochman.

In your first assignment (which I have already assigned to you) you will learn about the five pillars. Read the lesson carefully. After you're done reading the lesson, you will take a test about the lesson. You must answer all of the questions in the test adequately in order to move on to the next assignment.

After you've completed all required assignments, you will then take a final examination. If you pass the examination, you are permitted to either continue to study at the adoption school, or "graduate" from the school. (We'll talk about that when that time actually comes.) If you fail, however, you must stay at the adoption school until you finally pass an exam. Please note that you may leave the school at any time without graduating, but that means that you won't be awarded the "special barnstar" I give to my graduate students.

That's it; again I welcome you to my adoption school! Please leave me a message on my talk page if you have any questions regarding the school. →Bmusician 23:45, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This can not be speedy deleted since it is just one included set of data for List of casinos in the United States. Vegaswikian (talk) 22:58, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I am new to this - I challanged it on notability, speculative nature and commercialism. Either demonstrate that this list is notable or point me to the policy page establishing that it is ok. THanks !!!! BO; talk 23:04, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is a subset of List of casinos in the United States. This data is trancluded so removing it would also remove the data from that list. This has been around for a while and it has clear notability and is in not way speculative or commercialism. Also your listings breaks the display of the master list. A final note each list is a part of a series that categories into the individual states. Vegaswikian (talk) 23:15, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So it is a list of lists - how does that make the sub list WP:N. ? BO; talk

Please stop tagging the state casinos lists for speedy deletion under either A7 or G11, since they clearly don't qualify for deletion on either ground. If you want to be an administrator soon, your inability to tag accurately for speedy deletion will be held against you until you can demonstrate that you have improved, incidentally. Multiple List CSD nominations

[edit]

I see where you have made a number of speedy deletion nominations on Casino lists, all apparently declined. While such initiative to improve the encyclopedia is to be encouraged, I do think you've failed to consider two important pieces of WP guidance. WP:NOTESAL, our guideline for notability of lists, is the operative guideline for determining if a list article is notable or not. Any CSD, PROD or AfD of a list article on notability grounds should provide rationale that the list does not comply with WP:NOTESAL. Additionally, you should always faithfully take the recommended steps in WP:BEFORE before nominating an article for deletion. By doing so, you remove that burden from other editors who must step in and do the work that you should have done. Remember deletion is not a goal or desirable outcome, it is merely a method to maintain the quality of the encyclopedia. --Mike Cline (talk) 22:51, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your informative response. I have pursued this matter using several methods. So far yours is the only response to mention any policy on lists - a policy I have not been able to locate despite a significant effort and two discussion with several editors. I think you make a valid point in WP:BEFORE and I have do so within reason. I will provide an alternative policy called WP:SelfSelection to explain why the burden of proof in certain dubious situations should indeed fall on the defender. This will not be just my opinion but will include a game theoretic explanation as well.
I think that these CSD have had some positive effect - in that they have reduce the amount of speculative data on these lists as well as well as prompted their chief supporters to introduce sourcing missing for 4 years.
I will read the policy page you have provided and decide if AfD is more suitable (as recommended by the creator of one of these articles.)
I would be grateful if you can keep an eye on my talk page and advise me in finer point of policy. BO; talk 23:19, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yoga WikiProject

[edit]

I'm not real wiki-savvy, and would rather work on the article content ATM, but it would be great to have a nice importance ranking article Statistics table... I saw you put your name up on the Yoga WikiProject page, so if you do have extra time it would be a huge help! :) Wikipedia:WikiProject_Yoga#Statistics

Either way, Thanks. Supaiku (talk) 09:45, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'll look into creating statistics for yoga articles. BO; talk 10:09, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for your time, whatever the outcome:)

Re Stamp Images

[edit]

OB, difficult to answer specifically. First it is very important to know who owns the copyrights to the actual stamp designs--your mother or the agency she designed the stamps for. If it is clear that your mother owns the copyright, then she (or her heirs) should be able to release those images into the public domain or creative commons. If not, then permission from the copyright owner would be required. I would suggest that you review [Commons Licensing] policy throughly to see what options you have. If indeed you can upload the images into the commons with the appropriate license, then indeed you can use the images in the article. --Mike Cline (talk) 10:54, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright has definitly been transered to the postal agency, this is standard practice. However these are public (governmental) agencies. So the situation is more complicated. I also wonder if fair use may be cited to include them just in wikipedia since this is not premitted in Commons. I think that a good case could be made if there are servral stamp catalog containing pictures of stamps from many diferent counties' stamps (since it is inconcievable that they were able to get a release or pay a licensing fee for all those stamp images). This could be a precedent for fair use or even for wide scale creation of philatelic articles. Do you know if there are some editors who specialise in this area? BO; talk 11:13, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Probably the best place to start asking these questions is on the Philately project talk page. I am a member, but not active. There are editors there who will help with this. --Mike Cline (talk) 12:05, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have looked at a number of images used in notable stamp articles. It looks like it is possible to upload stamps under fair use doctorine - to identify the stamp itself, so long as usage is not about elements being shown in the stamps - where fair use would not apply as a photo would be just as good. Also the messages point out that the value of the stamp to the copyright holder is not being damaged - since it price is the selling price - listed on the stamp and is unaffected by usage on wikipedia.

New Page Triage/New Pages Feed

[edit]

Hey all :). A notification that the prototype for the New Pages Feed is now live on enwiki! We had to briefly take it down after an unfortunate bug started showing up, but it's now live and we will continue developing it on-site.

The page can be found at Special:NewPagesFeed. Please, please, please test it and tell us what you think! Note that as a prototype it will inevitably have bugs - if you find one not already mentioned at the talkpage, bring it up and I'm happy to carry it through to the devs. The same is true of any additions you can think of to the software, or any questions you might have - let me know and I'll respond.

Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 13:35, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi OrenBochman. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Gpherrysaputro, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. I've declined the G1 speedy deletion on the Gpherrysaputro, which does not apply to articles written in a foreign language. Best regards, Cindy(talk to me) 07:05, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the support and information - That articlce looked like nounsese to me - if you are certain it is a BLP i wil prod it. BO; talk 07:10, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • There is no indication that it is a BLP. When articles are written in a foreign language, our responsibility is to flag the article for translation and ask the article creator to translate the article, letting them know that it will be deleted after two weeks, if not translated. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have questions or need help. Best regards, Cindy(talk to me) 07:22, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The Google translation indicates a kind of BLP. Also your original message has confused the issue.BO; talk 07:31, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • The original message is a standard template, which applies to all declined CSDs, regardless of rationale. The information that pertains to this particular article is in italics. I've read the Google translation, which is a very rough translation and does not clearly indicate that the content is a biography of a living person. Please note that I have removed the COI and orphan tag from the article, due to lack of corroborating information to support the tag. At this point, the article creator simply provided his username as the article title. Once the article is translated, we will be able to ascertain viability and a proper title in accordance with policy. Lacking a proper title, there is no way to determine whether or not the article is orphaned. Best regards, Cindy(talk to me) 07:54, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think that there is excelent evidence of CIO at this point - you have said yourself the author has created the article with his own user. Also the article is definitely an orphan at these point. These notices should remain until it is demonstrated that the issues have been resolved - that is how consensus works. IMHO this is a test autobio and unlikely to be translated. However I do not wish to escalate this into a conflict. Since you clearly are asserted ownership about an article you cannot even read - it is therefore now your reponsibility. BO; talk 08:11, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The discussion above is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

A bit of advice

[edit]

Offering guidance to an editor that is not familiar with our deletion policy is not an assertion of ownership. I don't know to what you are referring when you claim that I stated "author has created the article with his own user." If you are referring to the creator using his username as a title, know that this is a common mistake of new editors and not indicative of a conflict of interest. I would recommend that you share your concerns with the editor that has offered to adopt and mentor you through the process of becoming more familiar with Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Discuss our deletion policy and the definition of ownership, as well as good faith. Productivity only goes as far as you let it. The more effort you make, the better the results. Best regards, Cindy(talk to me) 11:01, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Cindy, Thanks For the tips - I don't mind discussing policy - but it should be in service of advancing some adgenda or consensus. I do not dispute your good faith - I find the execution too agressive to allow me to co-operate. I have covered the modules on WP:CSD WP:xFD and WP:AGF last week and these are still fresh in my mind -- as is WP:Consensus. If you have some lessons to teach about NPP I'd be glad to partake of it as well. However a study unit like in User:Bmusician/Adoption/OrenBochman would be prefereble to tit for tat instruction. Due to some additional ideas that have been suggested, and because I had some in-depth talks with the Foundation to follow up on, I have pinged Steven Walling and Brandon Harris for a yes/no response on one of those suggestions. If they respond positively, it will relieve the community of the technical development aspect, while I'm confident that the volunteers' ideas will be taken very much into consideration and integrated if necessary/possible.
