Pierre Teodósio Felix Graduou-se Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco, Mestre e Doutor em Genética pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Atualmente é Professor, Pesquisador e Coordenador de Pesquisa do CENTRO UNIVERSITÁRIO DA VITÓRIA DE SANTO ANTÃO (UNIVISA), lidera o GRUPO DE PESQUISAS MOLECULARES E BIOINFORMÁTICA DE FUNGOS DE INTERESSE INDUSTRIAL DA UNIVISA (FAINTGEN) e o GRUPO DE PESQUISAS EM GENÉTICA DE POPULAÇÕES E EVOLUÇÃO (GPOP) e é pesquisador-chefe do LABORATÓRIO DE GENÉTICA DE POPULAÇÕES E BIOLOGIA EVOLUTIVA COMPUTACIONAL (LaBECom). Tem experiência na área de Genética, com ênfase em Genética de Populações e Evolução, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Genética de Populações, Bioinformática, Filogenia, Filogeografia, Evolução Molecular, Citogenética Molecular, Genética Molecular e Genética Humana.
