Hi! Just so you know, the draft wasn't article-ready when it was submitted, but I had some time on my hands so I spent a half hour or so finding and formatting more sources, mostly from newspapers.com. In general, an article has to have a handful (about five or six minimum) of reliable sources to be considered notable. More info on that at Wikipedia:Notability. Anyway, I'd appreciate if you could add more in-line citations! Thanks and happy editing. Let me know if you have any questions about this or Wikipedia in general! Thank you for your research and editing on this. Great work running down additional references. I've originated or edited a handful of Wikipedia articles over the years but never went through the request submission before -- I thought it was something new -- so it was instructive to see the take on more of "the style." Someone on Facebook's Caltech Alumni Discussion Group posted yesterday that the subject, Prof. Watson, didn't have a Wikipedia article (https://www.facebook.com/groups/caltechalumni/posts/10159354445391841/), so I thought I'd try to beat them to remedying that! Oh cool! He's an interesting character and it was fun to learn more about him. I will probably remember him whenever I see those Little Golden Books! Crunchydillpickle🥒 (talk) 18:15, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
