[edit]Can you please read Wikipedia:WikiProject_Articles_for_creation/Reviewing_instructions and ensure you are following the instructions, as atm you aren't, and it's starting to cause problems. Thanks - Happysailor (Talk) 19:59, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
I have read the instructions and it is unclear why you think I am not following them. You will have to be more specific. Principesa01 (talk) 20:12, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, firstly your not notifying editors of the fate of their article. Secondly, I'm in the process of going through your reviews, and while some of them are fine, I've been reverting others because the decline reason has been invalid (i.e. Benjamin Foster which AQ created minutes after you declined it, and Jim Ronayne (footballer) which was brought to our attention by the submitter, and 2 editors agreed was good enough to be created despite your non-notable decline an hour before)
- I'm not trying to jump on you and it's great that you want to help (especially with the current backlog), however it's important that reviewers know Wikipedia guidelines almost inside out and that they follow the guidelines set down by the project. - Happysailor (Talk) 20:21, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for clarifying. I will make sure that I notify editors - my mistake. As for the decline reason, whether someone is "notable" can be at times subjective. I looked at the guidelines for whether an athlete is notable and I didn't feel that those people met the guidelines and are appropriate for an encyclopedia. Maybe it's because the articles need some fleshing out - I don't know - but not everyone will ultimately agree. I appreciate your feedback, though.
Generally, if you're not sure, or its borderline, leave a comment and let somebody else come around- its more likely to be right that way. A412 (Talk • C) 20:34, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
- You may also wish to install the AfC script which will make reviewing articles easier and it automatically notifies editors and basically does everything for you. Pol430 talk to me 10:21, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
