Managing a conflict of interest

Am I doing this right? I just wanted to respond and explain that I have passing acquaintances with some people in the Lemon Twigs' inner circle, relationships I formed AFTER becoming a fan of the band, and that those relationships haven't affected whatsoever the content included in my entry. I'm not sure what I wrote that could possibly seem biased in any way--it's just facts about the band.
