A tag has been placed on The Raunch Studio requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Studio

[edit]

I added my studio to the list of Recording Studios London, but i'm not sure why I did somthing wrong? I listed it along with the others, can you please have a look for me and fix what I did wrong, this is my first attempt and I did not knowingly wish to break rules, so sorry. Kind regards Phil Raunch

Phil, I have moved your question from Template:Nn-userfy/doc. That is not the place to ask for help. If you need help in the future, either place {{helpme}} on your talk page or go to Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, as the welcome message above says.
To answer your question, the page you created, The Raunch Studio, was deleted because it was considered both advertising and non-notable. From the deletion log, you can see the administrator deleted it with the reason "G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion: Article about an eligible subject, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject (CSD A7)". I am not an administrator, so I cannot see the original content. I suggest you read Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Spam for guidelines on what is acceptable on Wikipedia, and if you still have questions, you can either ask me on my talk page or on the administrator's talk page at User talk:Accounting4Taste. Please let me know if there are any more questions. Thanks! --Mysdaao talk 18:04, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}

thanks I will be away for a few days working back on wed, if anyone is willing to help please have a look at the page Recording Studios London and tell me how I should go about having my studio listed, kindest regards Phil

Phil, there is no page Recording Studios London. Did you mean List of UK recording studios? You did successfully add a link to The Raunch Studio to the list, and it has remained there. When you tried to create the page The Raunch Studio, it was deleted because it was considered both pure advertising. It's difficult for me to help you rewrite the page to make it acceptable without knowing the original content. What I can tell you is about Wikipedia policies on acceptable content. Articles that are written solely to advertise a subject are often deleted. If that is the only reason you are writing this article, then you are in the wrong place because Wikipedia is a means of promotion. Articles have to be written objectively and from a neutral point of view. Articles on companies also have to show notability in order to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. An organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources.
You have called it "your" studio which indicates that you are associated with it in such way, and your username also indicates this. If this is true, then your editing may be a conflict of interest, so you should be very careful about how you edit. I also strongly suggest a username change because your username may be a violation of the policy at Wikipedia:Username policy#Company/group names, which says that "Explicit use of a name or url of a company, group or product as a username is not permitted." and "Accounts that represent an entire group or company are not permitted."
Please let me know if there are any questions on what I have said. Thanks! --Mysdaao talk 22:43, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
