Unusual articles though it was funny

Hi user Reywas92 I did think your Photo was funny that was on the page Unusual articles. But I think it would look better on the page for Unusual Photos of Wikipedia. The photo may have no place on the page for Unusual articles because there is no Unusual articles about picking you nose. If I have missed that page I am sorry. By the way is that you in the photo? and if so are you simply putting it on this page to have your 5 seconds of Fame? But I would have to say I feel that if you study the cold war, you would think that the Stanislav Petrov page is unusual in that the situation did not end in World War III

On a personal note I like your "Knowledge is power" -Quote

I love the page Unusual articles as i am sure you do and hope we can improve the page together. Max 17:41, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Paradigm High

And why is the Paradigm High School article nominated for deletion? Answer on my talk page please. Sir Intellegent 22:55, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
I apologize. I just thought of following the link. I saw the reason, and I fixed it (I hope that is enough). There is a note there to the school director that they shouldn't edit put such content on wikipedia... I will let the school director know personally so It won't happen again. sorry for the problem. Sir Intellegent 23:22, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
It is a little school, I just thought it might be nice to have it here. But I fixed the advertising. The posters I put up in the school says that the article must be completely neutral. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience. Sir Intellegent 23:26, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Paul Sills

Hi. I removed your speedy request from the article that was at "Paul sills". I moved it to "Paul Sills"; note that there are already a number of other articles linked to it, and he seems to have been one of the organizers of the notable theater group The Second City. Cheers, -- Infrogmation 02:47, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Self-identification as a minor

Hi, on your user page, you have self-identified as a minor. Although somewhat controversial, many editors here on Wikipedia think that that is not a good idea, and would advise against it. It's certainly not necessary to reveal your age, or any other personally identifiable information. I'll also drop a note on the admins notice board letting them know. WLDtalk|edits 22:45, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Nice user boxes

I also hate it when people say "Me and someone" instead of "Someone and I" (is it possible to make that user box? hmmm........) I like your user boxes on your sub page and am thinking that I might copy some (especially the

This user needs more userboxes. MORE, I tell you, more!!! Muhahaha!

). OH and all is forgiven about the article (it almost has a grave stone in its place). Do you think you can create UBXs that have "first article Created", "first article deleted by others", and last but not least "The date I finally got over the deletion of said article". I am humorous to (ha,ha,ha.......). Sincerely, Sir Intellegent 23:55, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Editing at Apostrophe

Hi Reywas. First, let me say how dreadful it feels to have misspelt "persistent" in my edit summary there. (A simple slip, but I do agonise. Can't revise edit summaries!) Second, let me point out that I myself would never use an apostrophe in "1960s", and that I have written against that practice, outside of Wikipedia. But it is not wrong to use one. Some authorities allow it; and even if none could be found, this still would not be sufficient to have it branded as wrong. The anonymous editor whose unexplained edit we are sympathetic to did not respect NPOV, and removed a carefully annotated and suppported piece of NPOV text. It did the job – much better than the altered version.

My RfA

Don't worry, I'll accept Saturday (you can't forget that quickly, can you?). :-) · AO Talk 19:40, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Warning

Do not edit war over the apostrophe. As you have been informed, above, and as I have pointed out, several places, there is absolutely no justification for editing out apostrophe plural markers in dates. If you continue to engage in a single issue edit war, you may find yourself blocked for disruption. Geogre 02:51, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Second warning

Please desist edit warring over the apostrophe without discussion. This is your second, polite warning. Geogre 19:27, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Richard Sproat page targeted for possible deletion.

I am going to add a {{hangon}} to the top of the Sproat page. I am not sure why you targeted this for possible deletion: it seems to provide enough evidence for notability. MellonC 17:55, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for removing that. I also added a couple of other external references: Jurafsky & Martin's textbook, which cites Sproat's work a lot, and the Wikipedia Indus Valley script article which cite Sproat's work with Farmer and Witzel on that topic. Hopefully this should establish the point. Anyway thanks for drawing my attention to the fact that the article needed more external support.
