Information icon Hello, I'm Zachary Schr. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Black Panther (film) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. FiberTech (talk) 15:09, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (film) plot summary have been removed because they added a significant amount of unnecessary detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 17:17, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making changes to plot summaries/synopses that conflict with the plot summary edit guides, as you did at Finding Nemo. You may wish to review the specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. Excessive detail and high word counts should be avoided. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 13:38, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Plot section you wrote is substantially similar to another website. Did you write this yourself? Ribbet32 (talk) 02:43, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I did. I went to an early screening and that website probably copied off of Wikipedia if you ask me.

A Clockwork Orange

Hi-please don't change spelling from one variant to another, as you did here. The other edits were not good, either, but the spelling changes were flat-out disruptive. NEDOCHAN (talk) 10:09, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You should also stop marking your edits as minor when they're not. NEDOCHAN (talk) 10:34, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi--I reverted your edits on Requiem for a Dream because they added unnecessary detail and subtly changed some meaning (e.g., linking to prostitution to describe a character's action is interpretive, not descriptive). I can see you've been warned before about following WP guidelines about plots; remember when you're reverted that the correct action is to discuss, not to reinstate your preferred version. Doing so is considered to be edit warring. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and edit warring, or using edit summaries like this, are not acceptable. Information icon Hello, I'm Julietdeltalima. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Sophie Turner, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Julietdeltalima (talk) 17:50, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! 220 of ßorg 13:52, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making changes to plot summaries/synopses that conflict with the plot summary edit guides, as you did at Scream (1996 film). You may wish to review the specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. Excessive detail and high word counts should be avoided. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, content you added to The Americans appears to be a minority or fringe viewpoint, and appears to have given undue weight to this minority viewpoint, and has been reverted. To maintain a neutral point of view, an idea that is not broadly supported by scholarship in its field must not be given undue weight in an article about a mainstream idea. Feel free to use the article's talk page to discuss this, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
