Possible revert

[edit]

Hello. At Rail transport in New Zealand, your last few edits may need to be reverted. User talk:Peter1429 has made a number of rapid changes without providing references. I have asked him to provide them, and will revert his changes, and therefore yours, if he's unwilling or unable to provide them. Please don't make any more changes while this is pending. On closer examination, it looks like he has simply moved stuff around, so I think we're OK. That's the problem when multiple large edits are made rapidly. It's hard to tell whether stuff is being moved or added. Akld guy (talk) 04:04, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Just saying that it might be worthwhile reviewing the above link. Your edits scream marketing, and it would be important that any declarations be made early. You should also look at something like Wikipedia:Conflict of interest to see the care that needs to be undertaken while editing at Wikipedia. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:09, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Contributions on behalf of KiwiRail

[edit]

I am at present in full time employment with KiwiRail. As part of my work, I need to keep web content up to date.

We have recently renamed KiwiRail Scenic Journeys as The Great Journeys of New Zealand and so all references to KiwiRail Scenic Journeys need to be amended and all links to the old website (which has been closed down) need to be updated to the new website. The new brand, The Great Journeys of New Zealand, includes the Northern Explorer, Coastal Pacific and Tranzalpine long distance passenger trains and the Interislander ferries - all of which we own and operate.

The only edits I intend to perform on behalf of KiwiRail are those that keep Wikipedia correct and concise. My only concern is that users obtain relevant and up to date information. My intention is to maintain factual tone at all times. Robin Heyworth (talk) 20:44, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages.
