Final warning

If I catch you edit warring, especially with RogueShanghai, then you're going to receive a short block.

  • If I see any more WP:NPA or WP:AGF violations, especially with RogueShanghai, you're going to receive a short block.

You're both exhausting the community with all the bickering and reverting. And yes, you're both getting the same warning, and yes, I'll block you both if you both don't stop. It needs to stop now. Sergecross73 msg me 14:11, 2 March 2022 (UTC)

Needless Edit Wars

Look, you need to revert my edits just so you can be king of the mountain. For example, on the main Billboard 200 page, it doesn’t need “by various artists” right after you told the world it’s the Encanto soundtrack. There’s no vandalism on my part; you simple want completely control over the page, and that’s not how Wikipedia works.

I allowed you to maintain your format on the “Billboard number one albums of 2022” page, but don’t revert my edits when they’re done in good faith. Trimming a redundant statement is no reason for you to revert back to the existing mess that was created. Wikipedia does have more than one user that can contribute to these pages.

WolfSpear04 (talk) 14:23, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

Okay, to be clear, WolfSpear04, while the edit warring needs to stop, you're equally guilty here too. Every time I've stumbled by your edits, you don't have a consensus either, just some flimsy WP:OSE rationale. You need to take your own advice here too. Sergecross73 msg me 14:53, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

I already let him have the other page. Does every edit on any Billboard page need to be reverted to match only his vision of the page? This is multiple pages not just one that’s it’s only his way or no one else’s way. What happened to the community?

WolfSpear04 (talk) 16:07, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

It's a collaborative project...but not really in the way you're describing. There's no requirement for some sort of trade off of compromises or something. You all really just need to start following WP:BRD, WP:BURDEN, and WP:CONSENSUS. Not all the back and forth reverting. Very little of the disputes I've observed are urgent or sensitive matters that require an immediate action. They're not WP:BLP issues, it's all trivial "how do we want to label this album" type stuff. Sergecross73 msg me 17:24, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
I don't understand this. What is the "vision" and "king" you're talking about? Every time an album or song is mentioned, the artist is also mentioned. That's it. I don't see the issue here. I barely edit on Billboard 200. ℛonherry 05:19, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
Also, I made *ONE* edit on that article. How's that an "edit war"? You're exaggerating to make a point about me. Plus what do you mean by "I allowed you to maintain your format on the Billboard number one albums of 2022 page, but don’t revert my edits when they’re done in good faith"? That's not how Wikipedia works. Nobody owns any article. Editing in a collaborative process, not a deal/contract. ℛonherry 05:20, 5 March 2022 (UTC)

  • I have given the above commenter a notice about edit warring on their talk page, regarding their dispute at Sour (album). I see you are also a part of this, and will advise you, as well as the one I warned, to take it to the article's talk page to iron out the dispute. MPFitz1968 (talk) 17:53, 5 March 2022 (UTC)

Cruel Summer RE

Hi. Regarding the message you left on my talk page, I actually started a section regarding "Cruel Summer"'s promotional single status in its talk page, so I would like to direct you to that. I am not saying the song is a single, I am saying it is a promotional single, there's a stark difference. Once again, my reason why is on the Cruel Summer talk page. Furthermore, my source that you are calling bad is AllAccess, a large music corporation that works with record labels and radio stations in the US to deliver news relating to music marketing on US radio. Everyone on here uses AllAccess as a source. Angelwazza (talk) 20:10, March 6, 2020 (CT) — Preceding undated comment added 04:21, 7 March 2022 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Taylor Swift masters controversy, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Medley and Halsey.

1991

I made the edit to change the bestseller to Carey’s album months ago, no one had a problem. The page explicitly said that Nielsen should only be taken into account for the years 1992 and onwards. It doesn’t matter what MRC Data states as it wasn’t present to track sales for the entire year. You haven’t even considered this when responding back to me. Ironman1p (talk) 15:45, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
