Notability

I suggest you read WP:GROUP about notability for groups. Also, please read WP:RS about the reliable independent sources that are needed to prove the notability. Very few gaming clans are notable enough outside their close environment to warrant articles on Wikipedia. Please remember that this is an encyclopaedia, not free web space or social media where anyone can have a page. No notability = no article, no reliable independent sources = no notability. Writing about your clan

Hello there. I appreciate what a "clan" is in online gaming - Wikipedia just isn't the place for that kind of content.

If you were inspired by another clan's site at the-hive.wikia.com, that isn't a Wikipedia page, it's a site at wikia.com. You can set up your own site over there really easily, and write whatever you like - just go to http://www.wikia.com/Special:CreateNewWiki and fill in the blanks. --McGeddon (talk) 10:19, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
