User talk:Sam/List of songs with numbers in the title
This page has been deleted by community concensus. I missed the vote and would have voted 'keep', though it doesn't look like it would have made a difference. I find the list useful, and have used it on occasion. Can I get a copy of the page as it was before it was deleted please? --HappyDog 18:01, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- Was it? Oh, right, it was. Very sad, because it was indeed a very useful list. I may restore it in my userspace once I get a good Internet connection. Grue 18:17, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- Regrettably, the deletionist mindset now has such a grip on Wikipedia that the project is, to put it in a nutshell, fucked. --Bonalaw 19:25, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- This is too bad. I also have used this list from time to time (and just came here searching for something on it). I can think of a lot less useful pages Wikipedia has chosen to keep. If someone restores the list somewhere, could you please post the external link here? Thanks! 66.17.105.226 17:11, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

6060-842
[edit]Definitely a number, by the B-52s. See http://www.lyrics007.com/The%20B-52's%20Lyrics/6060-842%20Lyrics.html. Cloning jedi (talk) 11:15, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
- It is on side 2 of this album https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_B-52%27s_%28album%29 . I was about to add this but not sure where. When they sing it they say "6-0-6-0-8-4-2" (listen to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nsVyxfm6Bw ) but the song title is "6060-842". I can't believe they deleted it
[edit]Well, yes I can... they deleted all all that global warming skeptic stuff... thousands of pages DESTROYED! Anyway, point is, this page is an excellent piece of research... I was searching over an hour through less complete lists for...
"'74/'75" by The Connells
What a great song that is. Which dude is the WP admin in the video?

5 8 6 by New Order
[edit]- Song "Video 5 8 6" or "Prime 5 8 6" is a 1982 song https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_5_8_6
- Song "5 8 6" is a later version https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power,_Corruption_%26_Lies
So 2 different listings or treat as 1 song?
