Welcome. Note difference between atheist and agnostic

[edit]

Sdgranger12: thanks for adding some people into the atheist/agnostic lists. I see you added a couple of agnostics into the Atheist list. I moved them into the correct list. Also, when you add someone into the list, you have to include a book or newspaper article (a web blog is not enough) that states the person is an atheist or agnostic. The format you must use for the book is complicated, so just copy the text from another person, and change the book name and page. If you have any questions, you can post a message at User_talk:Noleander and I will reply. Thanks. --Noleander (talk) 13:00, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Asexuality, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Asexuality. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. This is one person's opinion; per WP:BLP statements of any sexuality, religion, etc, should be sourced out of the mouth of the person themself. Rodhullandemu 22:35, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to LGBT rights in the United States, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diannaa (Talk) 00:18, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
