User talk:Shelley Konk~enwiki
Shelley, I followed the discussion on the french Wikipedia. I'm the one who wiped out your edits here, and I'll continue to do that. For one simple reason: You are very good to categorize and express childish nationalism, but on the other hand your contribution are very limited! Write articles first and they you can categorize them. Wikipedia is not a political playground for extremists. These cyclist or whatever are not your property and you can't use them as tools to express your hate of France.
You cannot imagine others are not like you. Creating "Breton cyclists" is not motivated by hatred. Your wiping out obviously is.Shelley Konk 03:45, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]I've responded to your comments on my talk page. Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 04:43, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Although I think it was a lousy decision, the community already decided to delete this page at WP:CFD (see the page's logs). I suggest taking it to deletion review if you disagree (though I think you'll probably not have much luck there). Unfortunately, once something's been deleted, it's gone for good. Aquitaine and Amorica
[edit]- Thank you Shelley. You are correct; though I believe it's safe to call it the "Kingdom of Amorica" in a large-scale map such as the east-hem maps. The only reason I can't show the smaller kingdoms of "Amorica" is because of the scale. A more zoomed-in map could depict the borders of those kingdoms, along with cities, battles, etc.
- I pieced the East-Hem base map (background, geography, etc.) from this topographic map <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topographic_map#Global_1-kilometer_map>. There are other maps out there too, some with no geography features, etc.) You can use different programs to edit them (I use PhotoShop, but GIMP is a good program and it's free). Respectfully, Thomas Lessman (talk) 17:49, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Good point, Shelley. I'll make a note of that and make the changes when I update those particular maps. Thank you for the suggestion! Thomas Lessman (talk) 21:58, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of International Youth Library, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.ijb.de/files/english/HMe_1/Page01.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 00:46, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Please don't do things like this where you over-wrote an existing redirect. There seems to be no information about the book other than that it exists, so I've turned the page into a dab page to point to both meanings. If you have more info and want to create a fuller article about the book, you could put it at Nomenclator (book). Thanks, PamD (talk) 09:55, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Shelley Konk. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Shelley Konk~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
