Various Football edits
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to wikipedia. I see you have been changing names, text and links across many wikipedia articles with relation to the (very) old contentious use of the word "football". I would advise against making any more changes as they are likely to be reverted back (as I have done with your edits). As hinted above - this debate is a very old one on wikipedia, and the Consensus generally reached is what now exists. If you wish to make changes to the naming structures then I suggest that you bring the subject up at the relevant Talk page. It would be wise not to make any more contentious changes until views have been given in any talk discussion - I say contentious because there are many editors who will disagree with the changes you are making. When someone wishes to make a contentious change to an article then it is best to reach consensus on that change before actually editing the article itself directly. Thanks.
