ArbCom 2018 election voter message
Hello, Smirkybec. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

What the students are doing to the article is unacceptable. One added back in the "family life" section (now called "personal life"). I didn't check closely, but it was pretty much the same thing I had removed when I blocked them. Another did the same thing with the Career section. I completely removed the Career section as I wasn't going to spend the time trying to fix it. I severely edited the personal section.
You said you were going to mentor them. If that's what you're doing, off-wiki I assume because I see nothing on-, it's not working. If they can't edit wikipedia properly, perhaps they should be working in a sandbox or at least draft space rather than in a live article.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:58, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
- I fully understand your frustration, and I am sorry that the students are being this disruptive. I have attempted to work with them on the content they are attempting to add, but I have not been able to get through to them. I have emailed their lecturer and posted on their talk pages to keep the problematic content they have created in their Sandboxes. This is the last day for submission, so I think that has exasperated the situation. Apologies again, I'll continue to monitor the page throughout today as well. - Thanks very much.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:23, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
