Copyright permission
[edit]I see that the page Sunnyvale Public Library has content reproduced with permission from the library, according to what you wrote in it. Please note that specific instructions need to be followed for copyright permissions -- otherwise unfortunately the article will have to be deleted, or at least the copyrighted material deleted from it. Instructions are at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. Please follow the instructions there and on related pages, and put a note at Talk:Sunnyvale Public Library (a page you will be creating). Note that it's not enough for the library to give permission for the material to be used on Wikipedia: they have to license it under GFDL or etc. and a copy of their permission has to be sent to a certain email address or etc. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! --Coppertwig 21:43, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Reposted article
[edit]I see you've reposted Sunnyvale Public Library: great! I added a history section, based on the history section at the libary's website but written in my own words. We're allowed to write things in our own words like that, just not to copy word-for-word without official permission. Thanks for your persistence. --Coppertwig (talk) 02:23, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
