Blog cited in MyFootballClub article
I changed an edit you made to the MyFootballClub article, and I wanted to explain myself more fully than the edit tag would allow. The blog cited was part of the article before DaveyC's vandalism, and I believe WP:RS is inapplicable because the blog referenced is not being used as authority for facts, but rather to show that certain fans, including the person who writes that blog, have reservations about MyFC's takeover of Ebbsfleet. I don't think we should need to wait until a newspaper article, or the like, reports that differences exist and itself cites to blogs, like the one here, before this idea is referenced in the article with attribution. The blog cited is a reliable source for showing the opinion of its author. (BTW, I am not that author, and disagree strongly with his views, but I thought it was important for NPOV for it to be in there.) Friejose (talk) 17:59, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Colombia
I understand it's not your fault, and if you read the message above yours on my talk page you'll see that Capt now has some figures and has asked me how to put them into the article. However, he hasn't yet told me his source. I'm trying to help him but my patience is limited. --Rodhullandemu (please reply here - contribs) 04:16, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
West Lancashire Derby
Apologies for the late reply - been busy as heck.
I'm not sure when your statistics for games against Preston begin, but I can tell you that up until the end of the 1990-91 season, Blackpool and PNE played 70 league matches against each other, with 'Pool winning 25, PNE 34 and there were eleven draws. Goals for: 123; against 118. Hopefully there's an overlap between my stats and yours.
Calley states that the stats are "up to the 1991-92 season", and since he left out the important "...and including...", I can only surmise that it is to the end of 1990-91. - Dudesleeper · Talk 17:44, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'll try and work out the totals from 1991-92 onwards and see if it tallys with the current total (looks close enough to be right to me). - Dudesleeper · Talk 20:29, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Orangutans
Good job with the reformatting and weblinking of the reference I added! AppleJuggler 06:52, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
US dates
I think I'm probably to blame for the supposed American-style date formats your edits on my watchlist relate to. Thing is, I've always written dates month-first, it's not just a byproduct of living in the US. I'll try to remember to switch the day and month around if I can. - Dudesleeper · Talk 19:41, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

I have and others agree with me. Thank you very much. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SuperSonicx1986 (talk • contribs) 00:16, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Look you son of a bitch. We already agreed to change it. It is that idiot German PJ who keeps insisting for some reason.SuperSonicx1986 (talk) 00:39, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
That would be the German who is British.... Nice. Chill pills are fun. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 18:57, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Danny boy
You'd have to wait until he makes a first-team appearance. Of course, there's nothing stopping you making his article in your sandbox and then moving the information over when his time has come. - Dudesleeper · Talk 12:24, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- Is it still understood his last name is Mitcheley, not Mitchley? - Dudesleeper · Talk 19:13, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
2006 FIFA World Cup
I really don't know. I've never been involved in such a dispute. If people want to change the article, they can add {{editprotected}} to the talk page, and maybe that will spur some conversation. I hate to be such an article hog, but my thought is that these two users keep checking in on the article, hoping that it will be unprotected so the edit war can flame up again. Maybe I'm completely misguided, though. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 20:13, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- Eh, I decided to unprotect it. At the first hint of edit warring, I will protect the article. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 04:57, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
'Pool
Sounds good. From what I saw, the information on the Blackpool Legends page is lifted directly from Roy Calley's book, but there might also be new stuff too.
As for a taskforce: sure, but I don't know much about setting one up, so you might have to ask for assistance unless you think you've got a handle on it. - Dudesleeper · Talk 23:22, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
The Fylde
There is no need to put into Category:The Fylde articles that are already in Category:Fylde (borough), because the latter is already a subcategory of the former. The same goes for Category:Blackpool and its subcategories. Also, it is usual to refer to "the Fylde" rather than "The Fylde". --Dr Greg (talk) 18:26, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- OK no worries about the categories, my mistake. Howver, this - Also, it is usual to refer to "the Fylde" rather than "The Fylde", with respect, I was born in Bispham and have lived here all my life. I am fully aware of the local name and how to use it. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 18:36, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, in my experience, whenever I see "Fylde" in any publication it is almost always preceded by "the" rather than "The" (in the middle of a sentence, of course!). We will have to agree to differ on this.--Dr Greg (talk) 12:51, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
