Re: ANI

I see your ANI thread has been closed. Yes, please tell me on my talkpage if you have further problems with that IP. (@Betty Logan: as long as it's just one IP, I think blocks are better than protection.) Bishonen | talk 13:39, 11 September 2018 (UTC).

Game of Thrones (season 8)

Hey Ted, it's very clear and obvious that Alfie Allen is a part of the season as his character has not died yet and have a storyline. Also it's not necessary to provide a citation on every cast member in such an obvious situation. I am aman goyal (talk) 19:38, 13 September 2018 (UTC)

@I am aman goyal: So it was very clear and obvious that Gendry was going to appear in Season 4? It was very clear and obvious that Daario was going to appear in Season 7? It was very clear and obvious that Ed Skrein was going to return as Daario in Season 4? No. Don't add it back in without a source otherwise it will be reverted; you need a source. TedEdwards 22:53, 13 September 2018 (UTC)
Hey Ted, if you know which I think you do, this is the last season. And don't you think that every living character who's storyline is not completed yet is going to appear. Or one of the twelve characters that have appeared in every season and played by a single actor would be replaced just for the last season?
How can you even think that? I am aman goyal (talk) 08:08, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
(talk page watcher) @I am aman goyal: Don't add it back in without a source otherwise it will be reverted; you need a source. You were told, and it happened. Do you have a source that backs it up? Why are you the only editor out of thousands on this site that gets to ignore WP:V and WP:OR? -- AlexTW 08:17, 14 September 2018 (UTC)

Well then, I'm not gonna revert it. But at least I gave you a KICK ASS reply over to your first reply to me. You got freaked out and then used these guide lines. You were really out of words, huh! Wow! I am aman goyal (talk) 14:33, 14 September 2018 (UTC)

@I am aman goyal: Those guidelines are applicable to everyone on this site. It's not that we "used these guide lines" against you, it's that you have to abide by them, as do we all. As I asked: Why are you the only editor out of thousands on this site that gets to ignore that? -- AlexTW 01:48, 15 September 2018 (UTC)

Yeah! forget the guidelines but about that "Very clear and obvious" thing, the reply you gave me was much irritating as I think you do know what I was trying to say yet you tried to prove me wrong. That's why it was necessary to give you a lesson. I am aman goyal (talk) 07:51, 15 September 2018 (UTC)

You gave me a lesson? Completely missed it. -- AlexTW 08:52, 15 September 2018 (UTC)

Hey there Ted! I was just browsing through articles of Game of Thrones episodes and noticed that all of them have a picture in their respective infoboxs, except one; No One. Would you or someone you know be able to get a picture for the infobox, Thanks. The Optimistic One (talk) 01:30, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

@The Optimistic One: So, there used to be a picture there, and it's been deleted twice. Once it was because is violated WP:CSD#F7 and the second delete was after a discussion here. I mean, I see no reason why there shouldn't be a photo and if I have time I will try to find one, but I thought I make sure you knew why there wasn't one. TedEdwards 12:11, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
Yeah, I noticed awhile back that the photo was deleted, I think the last one had a picture of Arya Stark in the photo after she got stabbed by The Waif. Thanks in advance anyways. The Optimistic One (talk) 03:31, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
@The Optimistic One: So, I've taken a screenshot of Daenerys arriving in Meereen (I can email it to you if you like). However, before I upload it, I need to contact an American editor as I need an HBO url for the episode, which you can't access outside the U.S. (even with a VPN or proxy it seems). TedEdwards 13:21, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
Thank you! My email is mustardlove420@gmail.com. Perhaps TAnthony might help you out on that. He's American and a fan of the show. Good luck! The Optimistic One (talk) 22:32, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
@The Optimistic One: This is the url for the "No One" episode page at HBO.com. Are you citing it as a source for the photo?— TAnthonyTalk 23:05, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
@TAnthony: I think that's the old photo. Ted has one of Daenerys. The Optimistic One (talk) 23:09, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
@The Optimistic One:, @TAnthony: Actually, I found in TAnthony's source a photo similar to the one I picked of Daenerys, so we could use that one. However, if I email both the screenshot I took and the one from TAnthony's source. So TAnthony, the source I was looking for the source like this one, but for No One (this one I've justed posted for the Winds of Winter, and File:Game-of-Thrones-S06-E10-The-Winds-of-Winter.jpg uses this url as a source). TedEdwards 13:34, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
Sorry TAnthony, I didn't realize you couldn't send attachements by Wiki email. However if you want to email me your email so I can you email you the photos, you can. If you don't want to do so, I understand. The Optimistic One, I've sent you that email. TedEdwards 14:14, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
Ok duh, now I get it! This is the US player link for "No One".— TAnthonyTalk 14:29, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
Thanks TedEdwards! I don't really know which one is better since they're both very good. But either one will do the job perfectly. The Optimistic One (talk) 17:59, 12 October 2018 (UTC)

O.K. I pick the screenshot I took TedEdwards 18:10, 12 October 2018 (UTC)

Guests & Special Guests - AHS

Hi, guests and special guests are not "basically the same" as they are credited differently. Hence, why the cast deserve to have a special guest column. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.2.17.56 (talk) 00:34, 19 October 2018 (UTC)

Yes they are, the're both actors (usually playing significant characters) who don't appear in the title sequence or the end credits. The lists actaully did use to be split until a few weeks ago by AlexTheWhovian, where he said A guest star is a guest star. So basically what I said. TedEdwards 00:40, 19 October 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of American Horror Story cast members, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page FX (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

American Horror Story Images

Hi,

Images I have uploaded for episodes of Murder House and Hotel are being proposed for deletion on the grounds that they serve no purpose. Is there any way I can change this? Magicladasha (talk) 16:42, 24 October 2018 (UTC)

@Magicladasha: The best thing to do is start a discussion at Talk:American Horror Story or Talk:List of American Horror Story episodes, pinging which ever user(s) has removed the image (if you don't know how to do this, use a template like {{ping}} e.g. {{ping|Whpq}} and make sure you sign your post, otherwise it doesn't work), and explain their significance. Suggestion for an arguement, say a lot of shows e.g. Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead have them, so why shouldn't AHS. Be willing to change the images as well, that might help. Also, make sure you know why Whpq has marked the images for deletion in 7 days. Regards TedEdwards 18:21, 24 October 2018 (UTC)

Template:Clear

I don't think such a large space could be perceived as normal. Also, I think that without this template, the refs look pretty lined up to me, at least on my desktop. Sebastian James (talk) 20:24, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

The template ensures the references are below the reception table, which makes the page neater. A large space is also perfectly fine, there's no guideline against it. TedEdwards 20:50, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Episode length pedantry

I'm amused that you think listing the episode length is pedantic! Surely the entire article is pedantic. And surely removing "Day" from "Christmas Day special" but keeping "Day" in "New Year's Day special" is also pedantic! A different editor got their back up about adding details about each episode length, and instead said it should be stated in a range, just how I provided. Also, if we are using timeslot length, the season premier was in a 60-minute slot, not a 65-minute slot. I'll fix that then! Nfitz (talk) 17:24, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
