About the Hartlepool stabbings

Hello, Paul. I'm the one who flagged the article for recentism and notability and I didn't want to move on without talking to you. I didn't mean to be cold about it, it just seems a bit soon to merit an encyclopedia entry. We don't know what the final legal outcome will be. These stabbings are certainly outrageous. Terrorism is a real concern and I hope I haven't been insensitive. Oona Wikiwalker (talk) 22:49, 12 November 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Oona Wikiwalker: I didn't create the article but tried to tidy it up a bit, although I share similar concerns. My main concern was use of the Daily Express to source the article so I found some alternative references. It seemed a bit soon to create it though, particularly when not much is known about the incident. It was reported in the media but largely eclipsed by other events. I'd support an AFD if you wanted to do that. This is Paul (talk) 23:06, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
I should have done it first, but after writing you the above message I looked at the user page for the author. Most of his activity is writing articles about recent violent crime anywhere in the world that were subsequently marked for speedy deletion. Seems to be a fetish? ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:33, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Deletion proposal for Timeline of Greatest Hits Radio

I noticed a message on my talkpage saying that someone has nominated this article for deletion but as of yet, no such discussion has been started and I've deleted it from the article. The justification is "Fails NLIST. No WP:IS WP:RS showing this has been discussed as a group. Unneeded CFORK of main article which already contains a history of the station." Given that you have done a lot of work to keep this up to date, I thought it best to let you know for as and when this appears. Rillington (talk) 11:04, 29 November 2023 (UTC)

Deletion proposal for Timeline of Greatest Hits Radio

This has nominated for deletion. The justification is "Fails NLIST. No WP:IS WP:RS showing this has been discussed as a group. Unneeded CFORK of main article which already contains a history of the station." Given that you have done a lot of work to keep this up to date, I was wondering if maybe you could please add your support for this to be kept because if this one is deleted, they may go after other UK broadcasting timelines which you and me have put significant amounts of time into.

The current score is 2 keep, 2 merge and one delete. Rillington (talk) 11:36, 7 December 2023 (UTC)

Thank you for your support regarding the AfD of the Greatest Hits Radio timeline.
I had received a message on my talkpage from User:Rodney Baggins regarding a major reformatting of our series of broadcasting timelines and I have replied. Given that you have played a major role in creating, compiling and updating timelines in these series I wanted to get your view.
You will see the format that he is suggesting on the the snooker timeline.
If you could please give your views on my talkpage I'd be most grateful. Rillington (talk) 12:28, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

Edits over the holidays

I'm away for the next few days and using a different device, so I'll need to revisit some of my refill edits when I get home. I'll be back on the 28th so I'll deal with everything then. In the meantime, have a great Christmas and enjoy the good cheer. This is Paul (talk) 00:02, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

Just a heads up

@This is Paul: evening. There is currently a vote going on at Talk:Lucy Letby#RFC on Lead sentence about whether to exclude calling her a serial killer. You have previously edited on similar pages and about similar stuff, so thought you may be interested in voting? 86.187.226.176 (talk) 18:52, 30 December 2023 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll take a look. This is Paul (talk) 21:29, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
