Getting started on Wikipedia
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia! As a furthered note on signing your posts, four tidal waves, without spaces, is required for proper signature. Secondly, you seem to be operating under multiple accounts, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. Actions such as these can lead to an indefinite block. Just for your information. Please feel free to add more to Holman S. Melcher as he seems to be an interesting figure in the Civil War, deserving of a well documented article. Happy Editing! Thanks, again. The multiple accounts are a revelation., Any idea how I could correct.TomDesjardin (talk) 00:08, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
- You should be fine as you continue using this one account. I would suggest creating your user page by typing something on it or adding a picture that fascinates you or whatever you'd like. Its actually great that you started contributing to the article, I have just found out about Holman Melcher when reading a book about him, and it would be great if you could add your expertise on the subject! In regard to the Charging the Little Round Top Controversy, many accounts seem to romanticizes Chamberlain, which leads to furthered dilution. We can both agree that Chamberlain was a great guy whose done a lot but Melcher had a profound impact in the Civil War that should be noted. It would be great if you could add as much as you possibly could to the article. Yorkshiremany (talk) 00:16, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
