SuggestBot picks the articles you might be interested in based on the articles you've edited and using a number of different techniques: following links from them to other articles, matching articles based on their content, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedia users. It tries to recommend only articles that others have marked as needing work, such as stub articles that need to be made longer, clean-up articles that need writing help, and so on. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you choose to participate we encourage you to leave feedback on these suggestions, which you can most easily do here by editing your user talk page. We'll stop by later to read them.

1997 CART season

[edit]

While Alessandro is his full and correct name, thoughout his American career he was known only as Alex. It is both appropriate and correct to refer to him in CART articles as Alex. --Falcadore (talk) 22:29, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

1998 & 2001 now also changed into Alex --VanBurns (talk) 11:20, 02 October 2010 (CET)

Formula One pointscores

[edit]

In formula one drivers on zero points did not receive a classified position until 2003. Any driver with no points should be indicated with a hyphen rather than a championship position. --Falcadore (talk) 22:46, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is correct. F1.com, the "official" site retrospectively classifies all finishers, according to today's rules. Wikipedia has to follow the rules that were in force at the time of the event, therefore F1.com is misleading, and in fact, false. Bretonbanquet (talk) 23:49, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

Welcome to the AOWR group! there is not much activity on the main talk page... not a huge force behind the project yet. Im reather new to it and there is not much in the way of structure to the group. if you want to work together on cleaning the project up. i dont do many straight up new articles but I am trying to fill empty season reviews and standardize navigation boxes and thier placement on pages.Ehall317 (talk) 12:24, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CART season See Alsos

[edit]

I think you should have a read of Wikipedia:Guide to layout#See also section. Relevance of links should be indicated. --Falcadore (talk) 00:11, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Hertha BSC statistics, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hans Meyer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
