• I think you may be getting your terminology confused. Those elsets show satellites which have clearly not been deorbited - once a satellite is deorbited you won't get any more elsets as, by definition, it is no longer in orbit. Instead I would suggest that these satellites have simply been decommissioned and moved away from their operational orbit. This is not the same as deorbiting a satellite, which is the act of removing it from orbit altogether (not just from its operational orbit) - usually by causing it to reenter the Earth's atmosphere, which is not practical with geosynchronous satellites. --W. D. Graham 21:16, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
