Why did you revert my edit of the Larry Haun article, which added his full name? See, e.g. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/184942219/lawrence-augustine-haun
Lahaun (talk) 20:19, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, The cited sources in the article (such as the New York Times piece and the World Link obituary) only give the name 'Larry Haun'. Wikipedia lists 'Find a Grave' as a 'generally unreliable' souce. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Perennial_sources#Sources) WKatastrof (talk) 02:34, 20 March 2024 (UTC)

Please help me with... Regarding The New Yankee Workshop
Russell Morash the creator, director, and producer of The New Yankee Workshop recently passed away. Shortly thereafter the geographic cordinates and postal address of the Workshop were posted on the show's page. The Workshop exists on Morash's private residence.
Throughout the show, Morash went to great lengths to obscure the Workshop location to prevent an influx of curious television viewers/fans to his home. Now with the Internet and some strategic searching, it is possible to determine the location. I believe however that this information should not be listed on Wikipedia out of respect of privacy to his remaining living family including Marian Morash. Being a relatively new editor, can some other seasoned veterans advise if the removal of this information is justified on a privacy basis?
Thanks! WKatastrof (talk) 11:28, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
- This is best brought up on the article talk page, but if the location is not widely published, it may be possible to keep it out of the article about Mr. Monash and of Mrs. Monash. It becomes more difficult to keep it out the more widely it is known. 331dot (talk) 13:42, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. I had posted on the talk page, but it has been dormant for several years. I have removed the location information and posted my justification on the talk page for that article. WKatastrof (talk) 14:49, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
