Biography feedback requested
Your input is requested about an RFC regarding Donald Trump. Here is a link directly to that RFC. The lead of that biography currently says, "Many of his statements in interviews, on Twitter, and at campaign rallies have been controversial." The RFC proposes to insert the words "or false" at the end of that sentence. Thank you in advance for participating. If you have the time, there is a second RFC at that talk page which proposes to instead add the words "or hyperbolic".Anythingyouwant (talk) 01:11, 4 September 2016 (UTC)

2nd Windsor climate graph
The reason why I should remove the second Windsor climate graph because most cities only have one climate graph. 99.255.143.109 (talk) 22:47, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
- @99.255.143.109 and Zppix: Since I saw the Windsor, Ontario wiki page being recently edited, it would be nice if I could discuss why two weatherboxes were added in that page to help resolve this dispute between both of you. Regarding on how many climate graphs should be added, I think it depends on whether the city has multiple stations or only one station. In the case of Windsor, Environment Canada currently operates two stations in Windsor: One at the airport and one in Riverside (on the eastern part of Windsor). The reason why both charts should be placed is because while the airport has good data quality, it is located on the outskirts of the city and only has records back to 1940, which misses the important 1936 heat wave. In contrast, the Riverside weather station is within the city and has records extending back to 1866. It is rare for weather stations in Canada to have records as long as that, making it important to have two climate graphs. As well, climate data is pretty rare or difficult to find in many countries. If there was a separate article dedicated to the climate of Windsor, then the climate graph for Windsor Riverside can be moved there. Ssbbplayer (talk) 03:32, 16 September 2016 (UTC)

Michael J. Osborne Bio Page - References Added
Hello-
I have edited Wikipedia pages in the past, but am new at creating one, so I mistakenly saved the Michael J. Advice on uploading photos? Is there a trick to uploading photos? Hi Zppix, if you're going to patrol new pages, please do so properly, reading WP:NPP in full first. Hi Zppix. Please refrain from using Huggle to patrol new pages, it is neither designed for nor meant for this purpose. It causes confusion and edit conflicts, issues outdated uw, and does not populate the required cats. (see: User talk:WikiManDance). For consistency and so that we can accurately monitor the performance of patrolers and core MediaWiki software, please use WP:Page Curation as the recognised interface for NPP. Simply, because the old links of the crop project webpage are no longer existant, the project finished and the new updated link is the legacy link of the project website.
Second, if there are only on test of cyclogyro in Europe, it seems reasonable to put it also for completeness, since there is the Korean test. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcpascoa (talk • contribs) 18:50, 24 September 2016 (UTC)

Greetings.
I am not able to interpret the comments for rejecting the Cuis Smalltalk draft article.
"This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia."
Cuis Smalltalk is an open source project. There is nothing to sell. How can a description of something that is not for sale be an advertisement?
Is Wikipedia trying to emulate a 19/20th century encyclopedia?
" Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. "
Cuis was created by Juan Vuletich. One person who was not JV submitted the article. Another person not JV edited and resubmitted it. How are these materials created by JV??
"This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established."
I say, "Look. Here is a rock". You tell me that some agency not related to the rock must publish an account of it. One cannot just look at the rock and decide for oneself if it is a rock?
Looking at the Smalltalk programming language page, there are references to pages for various Smalltalk implementations including Squeak and Pharo. The article I edited notes significant differences between Cuis and Squeak/Pharo. The major size differences are objective and can be verified by obtaining the implementations and running a small amount of code "Smalltalk allClasses size."
Your software rejected a .png file with this information and I am not acquainted with your odd markup syntax.
" If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies."
Again, I am not understanding these "policies". I really don't know what you are asking for.
Note that I have been writing code since the 1970's. I have used a lot of programming languages. In eight years at Apple, I averaged two programming languages a year in programming projects. I would expect that you want someone writing about a Smalltalk implementation to know something about Smalltalk and have experience with various Smalltalk implementations. How is this a hindrance?
I don't think that I am untrainable, but most of us suffer from busy lives and don't have days to grovel through details of some odd markup syntax. Some of us are also known to prefer typing text into a text box to writing unfamiliar markup on some "talk page".
My poor ol' brain may be shrinking but I certainly don't have a problem using the simple markup in GitHub.
I still don't know the f**k can I get a simple page on Cuis Smalltalk into Wikipedia.
Yes. I use expletives when frustrated. I have found the Wikipedia submission process very frustrating!
Can you help me get a simple, descriptive page on Cuis Smalltalk with appropriate references to the source materials?
Thanks for any help, "KenDickey (talk) 23:30, 25 September 2016 (UTC)" [?? "~ ~ ~ ~" Whisky Tango Foxtrot??]

Too speedy
This tag on Støvhyso was applied entirely too quickly. According to the page history, you waited less than 1 minute to tag the article. It's entirely possible that the author was in the middle of writing the article and accidentally hit the save button rather than the preview button, but now that they see that their work is to be quickly discarded, may well be too discouraged to continue. In order to avoid biting the newbies, you should always wait a bit before applying a "no content" tag. My general rule of thumb is at least 15 minutes, unless the page is blatantly an attack page, a copyright violation, or spam. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:51, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
